"What...yeah sure..." Leo stumbling with his words now thinking about his mother more than he had before since moving to Japan. Trying to keep the subject of his mother out of his mind Leo asked a question he had been wanting to know the answer to for a while now."Miss. Kani, where can I find a job?" Leo asked being pretty blunt in his statement.

Instead of salvaging what was left of the eggs, Kani stared at him in amazement. "Um... I'm not sure.. Businesses aren't looking for kids your age for a full time job," she said focusing on Leo for the first time. "You should be going to school but considering the circumstances..." she trailed off deep in thought.
"Circumstances?" asked Chii cluelessly.

"It's nothing you should worry about," Leo trying to get Chii to keep away from the subject. "Anyways even if I was to go to school then what, I would have to find a job anyways and I'm already 17, I should be able to get a job right?" Leo kinda feeling bad he pushed Chii away from the subject tried to get her talking. "Hey Chii, why do you guys go to school on Sunday?" Leo really not knowing the reason behind his question.

Chii shrugged, feeling like there was something Leo was avoiding. "No idea. We just do because the law says so," she said, feeling stupid she didn't know the reason why. She glanced at the clock. "Oh crap I have to get going!" she said freaking out and running around the kitchen. She gabbed a cooling pancake, dripped honey over it and rolled it, then grabbed her bento and school bag while running around the kitchen.

"Well, see you when you get back," Leo said as he got up not really worrying about anything. "Hope that Sunday school thing goes well." Leo waving as he watched her leave the house, not really planning on doing anything else that day. "Hey Kani, if I was to go to school, where would the closest school be for me to attend?" Leo asked really not expecting to ask that question himself.

"Chii's school is probably the closest... why? You don't have the money right?" asked Kani kindly, abandoning the eggs completely, scraping them into a garbage can, and serving the pancakes onto the wide kitchen table.

"You said I probably couldn't get a full-time job, but I might be able to get a part-time job." Leo explained hoping that she would think that plan would work. "But if you need me here, I would not mind that either." Leo chuckled as he looked at the pancakes she had just placed on the table.

"That might work... You can use our newspapers if you want to help find ads. After Chii gets home from school you can borrow her laptop, she never lets anyone know the password," Kani said resigned, almost entertained. "In the meantime it would be a great time to have some help around here."

"Sure, I'd be glad to help. Just tell me what you need." Leo smiled as he finished his pancakes. 'I might actually get to go back to school, I didn't think I would ever get to go back there again.' Leo thought as he now was beaming with a new found energy.

"Well today I have work, and Mu will be at her school today," said Kani thoughtfully.
She was interrupted by Mu tugging at her skirt. "Mommy, Nee-chan forgot these," she said urgently, holding up a folder with some papers sticking out.
Taking the folder from her, Kani opened it and looked through them. "She forgot her homework again, would you mind taking there to her?" she asked Leo resigned. "Her school is just through the park to the right, it's hard to miss. If you go to the office inside they can get it to her."

"That shouldn't be a problem. But what do you want me to after I get back?" Leo asked before leaving, "Never mind I'm sure I will find something to do. Later!" Leo exclaimed as he grabbed the folder from he Kani dashed out of the house at an incredible speed, not paying attention to his speed he ran quickly through the park and had reached the cross way. "She said right, right... yeah she said right." Leo telling him self as he almost flew by coming closer to the school. Leo stopped and gazed at the towering building as he looked around it from side to side. "This is a big school..." He gasped as he just stood at the front of the building for a little while.

"Leo?" came a shout from the building. Chii was looking down from one of the windows on the second floor and waving furiously. "What are you doing here?" she asked loudly.

"Chii, you forgot this." Leo raising the folder, "Kani said it was your homework and asked me to bring it to you." Leo shouted as he started to wave back.

"Oh no!" Chii cried horrified. "Thank you so much for bringing it! Hold on a minute!" she cried back, and dashed out of view from the window. A few minutes later she ran out the front door of the school, swerving around people standing around waiting for school to start. She came right up to him and took the folder gratefully. "Thanks so much Leo," she said relived.

"It was no problem, it was better than staying home all day waiting." Leo chuckled as he folded his arms behind his head. A teacher noticing the man out of uniform walked up to Leo and shouted. 'You, why are you out of uniform?" He exclaimed as he watched the young man notice him. "Excuse me?" Leo confused as he watched the Japanese man walk his way.
(Leo does not know Japanese so he does not understand the teacher one bit. XD)

"Sensai, he doesn't attend this school. He just moved here from America so he doesn't speak Japanese. He brought me my homework," Chi explained to the teacher, who nodded, and moved on walk around the campus more.

"What was that about? Can he not speak English?" Leo was still puzzled about almost everything in Japan, but was still somewhat happy.

Grinning at him Chii nodded, "See you after school," and ran back inside, making sure her folder was tucked in her arm securely so nothing would fall out.

"See ya," Leo not really paying attention to Chii. He ran out of the school and started looking for the sound he heard before while talking to Chii. It was ringing in his head, like the sound of a far away bell. He just had to find out what was making that beautiful sound.

There was a loud crash coming form the direction of the park and a girl voice shouted. "Strawberry Bell Bell!" which was followed by flash of pink light, and a loud scream.
(its the thing they're fighting, not ichigo)

There it was, the bell that he heard at the school. Followed by the scream from an animal he had never heard before. And soon after he saw a girl with pink hair and a dress to match. "Well, this is new." He joked as he watched her fall to the ground now noticing her cat ears. 'She's just like me and Chii,' Leo thought as he ran towards her and a group of other girls in costumes.

The animal they were fighting seemed to be a 20 foot tall squirrel. "Ribbon Mint Echo!" shouted another girl, this time with blue hair and all dressed in blue. Her bow pulled back burst of light at creature's chest.
"Lettuce! Finish it!" shouted the girl in pink to a girl who seemed to be more green themed.
The girl nodded and shouted, "Ribbon Lettuce Rush!" and after a flash of green light the squirrel fell with a giant thud.

"Wow, you guys finished that off quick." Leo smiled as he started clapping walking towards the strangely dressed girls.
