"Nope, just under the tree." Leo now with a little bit of sadness to add to his happy parade. "You don't have to worry though, I might just buy a blanket if it gets cold." Leo now just being dumb and trying to make jokes.

Narrowing her eyes at him, Chii grabbed his elbow and started dragging him away. "That's it mister, you're sleeping in our office room. There's a couch in there so you're going to deal with it got it?" she said sharply. What the hell am I doing?! Taking someone I just met home to sleep in our house!? Wonder what Kani will say to this....

"Got it..." Leo said a little uneasy from him going to a girl who he just met's house unannounced and all, but her grip around his arm was tight and he couldn't break free... even if he wanted to. 'Well, this could be worse... it could be a guy taking me home with him.' Leo joked in his head as he walked with Chii to her house.

Walking up to the door oh her house, Chii tried to turn the handle to the door and discovered it was locked. She sighed and knocked on the door. "Kani? Mu? Anyone home?" she called out, setting her bag down and releasing Leo's arm.
The door opened a crack and a little girl looked out. "Nee-chan?"
Chii smiled. "Hey Mu, can you open the door for us?" she asked kindly.
Nodding, Mu opened the door and stepped aside to let Chii and Leo in the room. "Nee-chan who's that?" she asked, her eyes wide as she looked up at Leo.

"Hi, I'm Leo. Nice to meet you Mu." Leo with a friendly smile on his face while extending his hand out to the little girl in front of him. 'Wow, what a cute little sister Chii has.' Leo thought as he waited for her response.

Mu reached up and shook his hand vigerously. "Nice to meet you too," she said, and the dropped her hand and turned to Chii. "Mommy's still at work."
Chii nodded. "Thank you Mu, do you know where all the spare blankets are?" she asked, putting an important tone in her voice, making it seem like she was in dire need of them. Mu nodded and Chii look at her seriously. "Can you go find them and bring here for Leo?" she asked.
"Yes sir!" said Mu, saluting Chii and dashing off and rummaging through drawers and things.
Standing back up Chii giggled. "She loves to pretend everything is a race for the end of the world. Everything is one big mission," she said happily, more at ease watching her sister.

"She's so cute looking for something that her older sister asked her to find, makes me wish I had siblings, too..." Leo chuckled as he just watched the little girl throwing things everywhere. 'Siblings, huh...' Leo thinking as he just stood there watching her go.

Opening the last door she hadn't looked in, Mu squealed in excitement. "Found it!~" she cried out, bringing out a large fluffy blanket, and holding it as high as she could to Chii.
Taking the blanket from her sister, Chii smiled. "Thank you Mu, do you know when Mom will get home?" she asked.
Shrugging her shoulders and swinging side to side, Mu look up at them silently, her eyes looking form Chii to Leo. "I dunno...." she said in a singsong voice.

"Well, thanks for you help, squirt. I appreciate it." Leo thanked as he patted Mu on the head for the good job she had done. Leo looked around, noticing the things surrounding the house, photos and decorations. Making him miss, his home in America. "This place reminds me of my house." Leo chuckled as he looked around.

"It's okay... but I'll tell you later. Right now I just need to rest." Leo with a sad tone walked over to the what looked like a couch and just fell on it without moving at all afterwords.

Looking even more worried, Chii shut the door and draped a blanket over Leo. She walked away and sat crouched in the chair worriedly, occasionally looking over at Leo on the couch. She bit her lip again as she rubbed her temples. ...Well now what? I just hope Kani gets home soon...

'Leo~,' a mysterious voice called out for him. 'Leo~.' "Who's there? Where are you?" Leo asked still dazed in a dark room he had never been in before. 'That doesn't matter right now. Right now you need to find it.' "Find what?" Leo asked again. 'In time you will know.' It answered as the room started to break apart. Leo started to fall when all of a sudden he woke up, now on the floor. "Must have been a dream.... where am I again?" Leo asked himself as he started getting up off the floor.

Noticing he turned around, Chii stood up and walked over to the wall and the light switch. The light flashed on and she ran back to looked closer at his head. "It doesn't look like it has a bump.. and it's not bleeding thats good," she said cheerfully.

'This isn't good, I can't hold them back. I'm sorry Chii.' Leo screamed in his head. "I have to go... I'm sorry!" Leo exclaimed as he ran out the door in the direction of the park. Now his ears had popped out and Leo knew he needed to hide.

Running to the doorway Chii saw Leo heading in the direction of the park. "Shit..." she muttered under her breath. She ran into Mu's unicorn decorated room and grabbed Mu's jacket. "Come on Mu, Leo decided to play hide-and-seek with us," she said cheerfully, hastily dressing Mu and picking her up.
Mu clapped her hands happily. "Yay! Hide-and-seek is fun!" she said cheerfully.
Smiling at her sister, Chii dashed out the door and after locking the front door, ran into the park looking for Leo. "LEO!!! WHERE ARE YOU!" she cried, looking up in the trees and around the tree trunks for a sign of Leo.

Leo had stopped at The Cherry Blossom Tree, and sat behind it looking at the moonlight reflecting off the waters of the lake. "Every time something good happens to me, these ears always ruin it. I start to make friends and they take one look at my ears and label me a freak. It's the same even here, I wish I could get rid of this curse." Leo cried as he stared at to water reflecting off the light of the bright full moon.

Chii ran around desperately, the night was getting colder, the sky darker, and she was worried for Leo. Mu had gotten bored of the game already and had fallen asleep and Chii had to carry her while searching. She finally ended up back by the cherry tree she had first met Leo under. Setting Mu down against the trunk of the tree and stretching, she noticed the outline of someone on the shore. "Leo?" she yelled out, running forward to the person, stopping a few feet away.

"Stay back!" Leo exclaimed as he covered his ears by cuffing his hands over them. "Why did you follow me, I just want to be left alone.' Leo cried as he sat in the reflection of the lake. "You should go home Chii, it's getting late and the temperature is going down fast. If you stay out any longer you and Mu will catch your death." Leo tried to say while covering his face making sure Chii could not see him.
