Hitomi pursed her lips together, finally realizing that they had practically been left agape for the past minute or so. She lowered her hands and shook her head again, taking multiple steps back. "No, no, no," she exhaled, quietly. "I have to go inside. My mom will be getting worried soon." She turned away, refusing to even take a glance back into those eyes, for if she had, she would have been trapped in his gaze again. "Goodbye, Kisshu."

He pursed his lips and crossed his arms over his chest. "Fine!" He huffed. He turned to leave and added as an afterthought. "Count on seeing me tomorrow, Hitomi." Then, deciding not to push her any farther, he left.

As soon as he left, Hitomi bolted for the house, throwing herself against the front door and locking it behind her. She pressed her back against the hard rectangle and rubbed the tops of her arms, shaking slightly. The only word that was running through her head was, 'Creep,' over and over and over again. What would he do? As if he hadn't already done enough by taking away the pride and joy of a first kiss! There were tears stinging behind her eyelids, but she refused to let them fall. It was such a stupid thing to cry over! Even though she was hurt and over all terrified of the young man, she also had a rush of exhilieration (sp?) coarsing through her veins, stinging at her emotions like a painful venom. Alive. That's the best word for it.

Kisshu sighed as he secretly watched Hitomi after he had "left". Perhaps he had gone too far. Perhaps now she really did dislike him? She had been so angry about the kiss, but he hadn't meant any harm. Well, he would just have to try again. Why, he wasn't sure, but there was one thing he did know; he had to have her.

ooc/ You know, and that's weird. I've always imagined Kish as the kind of guy who'd sit up in a tree and watch his girl sleep.
-x-
Quite shaken up, Hitomi went up to her bedroom, showering only long enough to wash her hair and stare at herself in the mirror for a long while. She forced a comb through her hair and a large T-Shirt over her head, her mind completely elsewhere the entire time. Why had he done what he'd done, said what he'd said? How could he decide whether or not to kiss a girl when moments before he'd tried strangling her? At the thought, Hitomi swallowed hard, lifting her hand up to her throat and matching her fingers with the marks his had left.

ooc/ *I see you, you don't see me. I'm hidden with my telephoto lens up in the tree* lol! It so fits him.
-x- The only problem was, he couldn't just forget Ichigo. After all, she was his first kiss. Hm...maybe first kisses were somewhat important. He debated apologizing to her the next time he saw her, but then he decided that he didn't regret it, so he wouldn't apologize. Then he thought about maybe giving her some space, but realized that that just wasn't an option. He couldn't give her a chance to forget him. "What to do...?"

Hitomi snuggled deep underneath the large comforter, clicking off the light on the night stand. She shut her eyes, pulling the blanket over her head. (Just in case.) That night, she dreamed of him. He was the leader of a slaughter, a blood bath...

Kisshu sighed as he saw Hitomi fall asleep. It was probably time for him to turn in as well. Reluctantly, he left to get some sleep. He would need all his energy for when he would go to see her again the next day.

The sun peaked through the curtains of the clear window mercilessly, forcing Hitomi's eyes open even before her obnoxious mother had bounded into the room. "Hika-Chaaan!!" She practically sang. "Time to get up for school! You're the new kid, so live it up while it lasts, sweetheart!" "Ugh... Go away..." But her mom persisted, eventually yanking her up by the arm to get her out of bed. Hitomi went through the normal morning routine like a robot, only changing pace based on the disgusting new uniform she had to wear. She sighed, looking at her dirty clothes from yesterday as they lied there on the floor. Wallowing in the filth... Never to be worn in public again... "Gomen, Gomen..."

The first thought on Kisshu's mind was How can I have some fun with Hika-Chan? He knew he was twisted, but he just couldn't resist bugging the poor girl. She was just too much fun; too special. He hoped that his new toy wouldn't break anytime soon.

Hitomi rushed out the door to please her mother, but when she finally started walking, she slowed her pace. Maybe she'd ditch... No, that wouldn't be the right thing to do. The teachers would notice her abscence, and her mother would be furious. The way that the ugly uniform shoes clomped against the sidewalk was incredibly aggravating, drawing her away from her normally serene thoughts. Stupid new school... stupid new uniform... stupid... She stopped, suddenly, glancing around for the young man from last night. No sign of him...

Kisshu chuckled as his new toy stopped walking and looked around. He was too high abover her. He was sure she wouldn't think to look up. He decided to what to ambush her until after she got out of school. It would leave him with more time for fun. For now he would just follow her.

Hitomi shrugged it off. She could sense that she wasn't alone, but if he meant her any harm, he probably would have attacked her by now... Right? She stood in the back of the room anxiously in her homeroom. It seemed like all eyes were on her, but why? Was she wearing her uniform wrong or something? Jesus Christ! Quit it!

Kisshu could see Hitomi's discomfort through the window of the school. Everyone kept turning around to stare at her while she fidgeted. She looked nervous. He felt bad. Well, he would just have to make it up to her after school.

Hitomi returned to homeroom towards the end of the day, staring at the clock with angst on her face. It was practically a study hall period, and she was relieved that no one was paying attention to her. Often times, her overwhelming kindness would get the best of her, even when it came to these idiots. When the bell rang, she was the first one up, out of her seat, and out the door.

Kisshu was getting anxious. How long was school supposed to last? He was quite bored. When was his Hika-Chan going to come out to play?

Hitomi walked off of school campus and sighed, loudly, stretching out her aching arms and legs as she walked home. "Ugh!! That bit!" She shouted to no one. "You'd think that with the funds Japan provides for their schools, they'd have a little bit more recognition for our comfort!"

Kisshu made sure that Hitomi was far enough away from the school before going in for her. He teleported to her, kissing her and flying back so that she couldn't hit him again. "Hey there, sweetheart. How ya been?"

Mildly shocked, but not quite as shocked as before, Hitomi could only stare at him for a while. God damn it all. And here she was thinking that she'd gotten away from him. Suddenly, she blinked, dropping her bag. Her eyes wider than they'd ever been in his presence. WHAT THE HECK?!! "Kisshu--!!" She gasped. "Are you flying--?!!"

He looked down at the ground, then at himself, and finally to her. "Um...yeah. Alien, remember?" He then smirked. "You didn't hit me this time. Does this mean that you enjoyed my kiss?"

Shaking it off, Hitomi looked away. Her pulse had quickened immensely, yet she felt no anger in her chest like before. This time around it was something different, kind of like getting stage fright but in a reversed manner. What was she going to say? 'Kisshu, I can't hang out with you because I think you're a dangerous murderer?' Which, he was, but... No need to bring that up. After the incident in front of her house, she was a little bit frightened of the circumstances of his temper. "No... I didn't..." She said, softly. Maybe it was a lie, though...

"Hmm..." His face held complication. "I guess I'll just have to keep practicing until I get better then." He smirked at the look on her face. "Hitomi, you're just so difficult to please." He was behind her then, holding her in his arms.

His skin was cold as he held on to her, making her shiver. She was trapped within his hold for only a moment, soon shutting her eyes, the eyelids setting sharply on her flushed cheeks, she pulled forward, breaking his hold. "No!" She snapped, catching herself on her heel to face him. "I've told you before, no."

Hitomi gave him a slightly pained look, eventually looking to the ground. Her eyes slowly fluttered shut, full of guilt that she knew he could read. This was so unnatural for her. She was so used to keeping such a gentle disposition, but here she was, pushing this guy away from her. For reasons that she felt frightened to speak of... A sigh escaped her lips, and she shook her head once. Twice. "I can't."
