Leo looked down at the person that bumped into him as he wasn't in the happiest mood at that moment until he noticed that it was Alice who bumped into him. At that second he overflowed with joy; happy to know that yesterday wasn't a dream. Leo extended his hand to Alice his smile so strong at that moment he couldn't even bring himself to say 'Hi.'

"Kitten-Lad!" No sooner had the boy helped her up than she had launched herself at him, knocking them both down again. She giggled at the look on his face. "I told you I'd see you soon."

Leo just continued to smile at her, happy that he did get to see her again. "Yeah, I guess you did." He said as he began to start laughing.

Alice laughed. "Kinda weird isn't it? Everything just seems so surreal. Oh! Sorry! I totally just knocked you down twice!" She stood and this time offered him her hand. She was so filled with joy at being with Leo again, she vowed that nothing would break her smile.

Leo took Alice's hand as she helped him up. "Thanks Ali..." Leo then paused for a second, "It's funny, usually I'm helping people up; not the other way around." Leo chuckled as he looked at her smiling face.

"Hmm...what to do? What to do?" She muttered, thinking to herself. "Well...if we're avoiding the dangerous route maybe we could...go get breakfast!" She grinned, pleased with herself. "After all, breakfast isn't dangerous. That is...unless the pancakes try to eat you or something..." She yawned. "Oh dear, I'm sounding so crazy...I guess I didn't get enough sleep last night." She chuckled and smiled to her friend yet again, her joy as bright as the beams shining down on her from the sun.

"Sure breakfast sounds nice." Leo smiled as he started walking towards the cafe'. "I know the cafe' serves breakfast, why not try there?" Leo asked as he looked back at her smiling face.

Alice nodded happilly before walking to catch up with him. Without thinking about her actions she grabbed his hand. After a few seconds it sunk in what she had done and that was all it took. Suddenly POOF; her ears and tail were out.

Alice's blushed deepened. "Heh heh...yeah...I guess I am." Damn! She inwardly cursed. You've got to get it together Alice! You're losing it!

Leo just smiled at her while she continued blushing. "Hey Alice you don't have to be embarrassed by holding my hand." Leo said still smiling at her as he just watched her blush deepen even more.

"Seriously?!" Alice was brought out of her funk by hearing this. "But you're the least weird person I know, Leo!" She gazed up at him. Who would possibly think he was weird? He was so sweet and kind.

"I many not be showing it, but I can become a violent person when the times calls for it...." Leo sighed as he looked away from her, "... sometimes to the point of killing." Leo knowing this would most likely end his friendship with Alice, but was happy to have met her at least.

Alice thought about this. "Well...that doesn't matter to me." She decided. "I still be your friend, because I know that you're a good and kind person, Leo." She smiled shyly up at him. "I'll be by your side for as long as you'll let me."

Leo was shocked by her response, enough so to make his own ears pop out. At that moment he started thinking this may still be a dream, but he knew even in his wildest dreams he had never heard anyone say that to him. "Ali... thank you." Leo whispered as he was so happy that he didn't want to yell in her ear, so he whispered it instead.

Alice was at peace as the walked to the cafe'. It was something she hadn't felt in such a long time. She didn't have to worry about Leo judging her or disliking her for just being who she was. She loved the freedom she had with him.

They walked inside, and as Leo look to find that no one was around. "Well, I was to expect as much, the girls are most likely at school and Ryou and Kenny must be down in the lab or out in town." Leo sighed as he went to the kitchen, "Well Ali, what would you like?" Leo asked as he started washing his hands getting ready to cook.
