He did notice a similarity in Rose's face compared to Zoe's. They had very similar facial and bone structure.
He continued to walk down the sidewalk next to her. He doesn't usually like talking to people but for some reason he felt that he should, or wanted, to try and get to know Rose. He wasn't sure which it was or weather it mattered or not.
"So how long have you lived here?" He asked

"oh uhm about 8 years, i was adopted when I was 9 so it hasn't really been to long." she said giving him a smile, not expecting him to actually start a conversation

"oh, well hopefully someday I'll be able to have my picnic moment if I ever get a date." she said not meaning him completely when she said that but she knew she meant a date with him

"You don't strike me as a kid and you'll never know unless you try. My advice? Start slow unless they're the type to jump into a relationship. start off as trying to be friends for a little bit before trying romantic advances." He said heading to the stairs

He headed up the stairs, not hearing that last part and went into his apartment.

He also went to bed and woke up right before three, went out the door and down the street. As said Zoe was in fact there.
"This better be good." He said crossing his arms. Her eyes glowed and changed to a dark purple as the ground started to shake. Jason knew this well and immediately responded, "Okay, I get it, you can raise the dead."
"And for the technique you learned yourself." She said and cause a large crack in the ground to open up and close up. It was something that could only be done where there were funerals or burial grounds.
"Now do you continue to question me or should we go and simply get a DNA test, of course they would also find the magic in our DNA and question it." She said with a smug look.
"Why do you need my help? Why can't you just get home on your own?" He asked.
"I messed up a complicated spell and need time to regenerate my time magic before I can. I don't know this place and my mom doesn't yet know of her own magical abilities so she can't help. I just need someone who can help me blend into this time and world for a little while." She explained.
"Fine. Come on sis." He said.

she slept through the night and was up the next morning running off to the apartments pool to meet her friends (she's wearing the bathing suit in picture)

Zoe left to find a job so that she could pull her weight and help out with food or rent. She had no idea how long it would be before she would have enough magical energy over time to get home but she wanted to help just in case it took a while. Jason headed to his first day on the job for training

"I wouldn't take his attitude personally, he's just antisocial like that. He's talking to you and responding so it's a good start." Zoe said, seemingly appearing out of nowhere.
