she sighed and got ready for work at the candy shop. she walked out of the building in a pink skirt and a purple top carrying her apron

Jason wandered around town until late into the night. Debating on weather or not he should go and meet the crazy girl.
Zoe found a store that sold slurpees and candy and went in, glad that the money on Earth hasn't changed much and very pleased to find that everything was cheaper.

Zoe went around picking out a bunch of chocolate while sipping her slurpee when Jason walked into the store to look around. He noticed Zoe adn prepared to leave.
"Don't you start trying to avoid me Jason Thanatos Chase. If don't help me then you will be stuck with me." Zoe said blocking his way, appearing as if from nowhere. He stared her down and she glared right back. A few people around wondered what was going on, guessing they were siblings because of how similar they looked and tension formed around them growing thick.

she walked up between them and smiled "you didn't tell me you had a sister when we met....well not something I really expected to be told off the back." she held out her hand to Zoe with a smile "hi I'm Rose."

Jason indicated Zoe to follow him and the two walked out of the store.
"How do you know my full name?" He demanded once they were alone.
"It's like I told you bro. Geez I never expected you to turn out to be such an ass in your teenage years." Zoe responded.

"Good you should. See you later bro." She said just as coldly and walked off across the street from the candy store. Jason started down the sidewalk past the store and headed back to the apartment building

she was walking only a few feet ahead of him, it had gotten really cold and she was rubbing her arms obviously freezing

Jason didn't even notice the cold, more likely than not his skin was colder than the air unless he used life magic, Zoe was the same way but she didn't use life magic so she was always cold and neither of them are bothered by it. Soon he caught up to her, unintentionally, he just takes long strides.
