Anna sighed. "Yoh... You can't go out charging into battle like that when you don't know what awaits you. Leo, Ren and Aya are already out looking for her. And apparently, Kaze's heading out himself. I can't..." She looked away, a stern look on her face. "I can't have you getting hurt over something that's already being handled."

"You're not listening. She joined on her own free will." Aya whispered, as tears fell down her cheeks.
Aya gripped Ren's hand and wiped her face.
"I'm so sorry. I tried to stop her but-"
Aya stopped. There was really nothing she could have done to stop Eioku.

Ren looked up, his gaze harsh. "There was nothing you could have done. She's sick, Aya. And she needs help. We need to get her away from those people..."
He thought for many minutes. "The second round..."

Aya wiped her face and entwined her fingers within Ren's. Eioku was sick and everyone would be worried. How dare she say that Aya had the attention. Aya had only been there a day. There was no way she was held in higher regard. Those words confused Aya so much she forgot she was crying.

Ushio glared down at Houka, sitting on the opposite side of the fire. "It's not paranoia, you fool," she said, adjusting her jacket on her shoulders. "I was being cautious, making sure that Hao-Samma would be safe sitting here. Unlike you, I actually care about our Lord's well being."

"Aya," Ren said, his grip on her hand tightening. "Don't cry. Aya, look at me." He ducked his head low, making a direct bit of eye contact. "Don't cry. We're going to work this out, alright? That's what... he always says. And he's always right. Okay?"

Houka just shrugged. "You know while you're out there he could be attacked over here." Houka explained. "Then who's gonna be the careless one? Besides, you're not the one who gets sent all over the place."

Blood sat there saddened as looked down to see Yoh and Anna in the house. "Leo we should go tell them that the man escaped...." She explained as the two jumped down and began walking inside, over to the two shamans.
"Anna, Yoh..." He said staring at them as he saw Yoh trying to leave and Anna stopping him.

"Yeah, I got shot in the stomach by the kidnapper..." Leo said rubbing his wound, which was almost fully healed.

Ren was quiet for a moment. He looked at her, reaching upward, touching her cheek. "Aya..." He exhaled, softly. "Look at me. Right now. Look at me."
He let his fingers pull her back, catching her gaze with soft eyes. No, he couldn't explain why, it just seemed nessicary. Natural.

Aya was brought to look into Ren's eyes and she felt him use his thumb to wipe one tear away. Aya couldn't process the guilt of what Eioku said or the shame of what she said in return. She would come to be hated by everyone. Aya found herself looking at Ren, waiting for him to say something.

Quivering, Ren leaned forward, tilting his head at a mild angle. His eyes flitted shut, his free hand moving to the back of her neck. "Forgive me," he exhaled, moving closer. With one swift movement, he lightly pressed his lips against hers. His fingers intertwined in her hair, ensuring that she wouldn't pull away from him.

Eioku scooted back away from the fire a few feet, stretching her arms up over her head. "Mmm... We're sleeping out in the grass, right?" She asked, yawning halfway through. Watching the sparks fly up from the flames, she leaned back on her arms. "Pretty nice temperature out here, don't you think? Do we really even need a fire?"

Aya was in shock. This was a different type of kiss she had been introduced to. Aya was the weaker side of the kiss. She tried to pull away but the raw passion was too much for her to handle. She became enveloped in this war for dominance that she was surprised by it. Aya closed her eyes as Ren pushed forward, stronger than before. This kiss felt so good.

Anna wrinkled her nose at the wound. "You let yourself get shot? Couldn't you have just teleported yourself away from the redzone? Or put up a shield like you usually do?" She looked up to him, cruelly. "Idiot."

After a moment, Ren pulled back, pressing his forehead against Aya's. He was shaking again, trying to fully comprehend what the hell he'd just done. "I'm sorry..." He exhaled, letting his hand fall back to her shoulder. "I-I don't know what I was thinking..."

"I did block two of his bullets, but the third hit me..." Leo said sadly as he finished healing his wound completely now and looked at Anna. "So I guess you already know then..."

Anna stared at him, expressionless. "Know what? It's obvious that it's a bullet hole. Any idiot could have figured that you got shot simply by the way that your shirt is torn." She cocked an eyebrow at him. "What am I supposed to be knowing?"

Anna tensed, suddenly, her hair seeming to raise up on its own underneath her usual crimson bandanna. She stomped forward, grabbing Leo by the collar of his shirt. "WHERE IS MY SISTER?!!" She shouted.

Anna could feel the heat building up in her chest, moving up to her temples. She lowered Leo back down to the ground, her teeth clacked together sharply. "That... That stupid little..." She muttered, turning away. "Why would she--"
