"Um...11:30 am..." Kisshu said. "You really don't regret it?" He asked, joy filling him again. Had he really won?

Hearing him speak the numerical symbols, she stiffened. "Excuse me?!" She shouted, looking over at him with wide eyes. "Oh, my god!!" She flew out of the bed, falling before her dresser, smacking her forehead against the wooden corner. "OW!! Fuck!" Ignoring her pain, she sat up straight, grabbing on to her alarm clock. Yeah. He was right. "I MISSED SCHOOL!!" She wailed, falling backwards. "NO, NO, NO!! Mom will be so furious! Oh, my god! Nobody called me off! It'll be on my permenant record FOREVER!! Nooooo!!!"

"Oh...that place? The really terrible one?" He asked. "Can't you just say that you're...sick or something?" He asked. "And why would you want to go somewhere like that anyways."

Hitomi stood, tugging on her hair, completely freaking out. She paced back and forth, quickly. "If you don't go to school you can't get into a decent college! Oh, my god, if they say that I skipped I'm doomed! I can say goodbye to Harvard!! It's Yale for me!! Oh, Jesus Christ, NO!" She let out a long, drawn out moan.

"Well, is there something I could do?" Kisshu asked. "I'll do anything you need me to, Hika-Chan." He followed her as she paced. It was odd, seeing her so panicked.

Hitomi sighed, falling back on to her bed. "There's no point in going now... school ends in fifteen minutes..."

"Wait...you need a call right? If someone calls and says you're sick, you won't get in trouble, right? So, what if I called for you and said that you were very sick and couldn't come?" Kisshu asked, sitting in the air and hovering with his legs crossed (ooc/ isn't it called indian style or something?)

Hitomi thought for a moment. "I... guess so..." She said, quietly. "You don't have to do anything like that, Kish..." She bit her tongue after that. Kish? Damn it!

"It's not a problem, little Hika-Chan." He told her. "Just write down what you want me to say and dial the phone thing and I'll do it for you." He told her. "I really don't mind." Kisshu noticed that he had called her Kish. No one had shortened his name like that before.

Hitomi nodded, grinning. "Thanks so much! I owe you a whole bunch, Kisshu!" She darted for her desk, quickly scribbling down the phone number and the message. "Here," she handed it to him, grinning. Aw, he was a life saver!!

"No problem Hika-Chan." Kisshu dialed the number, cleared his throat, and read off the message. He then hung up and looked over to Hitomi. "You're excused, Hika." He grinned. He then went over and hugged her. "Now what should we do?"

Hitomi gave him a quick hug back, then pulled away, trying not to seem to friendly. "Uh... I wish I could introduce you to my mom, but..."

Kisshu laughed. "That most likely wouldn't end well. I wish I could introduce you to my friends but.... well...." He chuckled again. "They don't think like me."

Hitomi looked up to him, curiously. "Oh?" She asked, leaning forward a bit. "I'd like to convert them of that! After all, isn't it only fair that your friends are my friends, since we're all supposed to be best friends, anyway?" If only the world were that simple.

Kisshu thought about that. "Yeah...I guess." He nodded. "Are you sure you want to? I don't wan you to force yourself to for me?" He was sad that she had called him a best friend still. He had hoped that after the night prior he would be more to her, but she had kissed him and she hadn't regret it and that was what ultimately mattered.

Hitomi slid her legs into a pair of jeans and ruffled out her hair. "Ugh... It's all knotted... I forgot to put it in a ponytail last night..." She muttered, sighing. "You're sure all we did was kiss, Kisshu?"

"Yes. That and sleep." He nodded. He sat on her bed, watching her with interest. "Would you like to do more?" He asked her, raising his eyebrows to tease her.

Hika blushed, looking away. "Sick. I'm fourteen, you jerk." She felt around on her dresser for a hairbrush.

"If it disgusted you, you wouldn't blush, Hika. So, if not me, who do you want?" He was genuinely curious. Who was his Hika chan into if not him.

"Ah, here it is." She said, picking up a red and white hairbrush off of the dresser. Lifting it to the back of her head, she began forcing it through her now knotted hair. Looking to Kisshu now, she replied, "I'm not into anyone in particular. My taste in men sort of deteriorated after a few unlikely events that have taken place in my life. Why does it matter?" Sick. Why did he CARE?

"Just wondering." He said innocently. "Here, let me help." He reached and took the brush from her hand, running it gently through her hair. "What unlikely events?"

Hitomi lowered her hands as his ran through her hair effortlessly. Show off... She wondered if it'd even be worth it to tell him why, but they were best friends now, right? "Uh... Just about two weeks ago I, uh..." Hitomi swallowed hard. There was no way she would make herself upset over it. "I lost my big brother to the armed forces. He was in a plane and got shot down by... No, we don't even know what. Same happened to Dad a few years ago." She bit her lip.

Kisshu knew she was martyring herself over showing no emotion towards the matter, so he kept his mouth shut. To say anything would be to put the poor girl to shame, he knew that well enough. However, he could not help his instincts, which told him to play with her, of only just a bit. "Oh, little Hika-Chan," His arm wrapped around her waist as he buried his lips in her neck, leaving kisses that were soft as a whisper.

"Mmh..." Hitomi moaned, lightly, lifting her hands up to his arms. "Kish..." She leaned backward into him, her desire for solace taking over her normal instincts that would have ordinarily caused her to pull away. What the hell was this...? His lips were like fire against her skin, causing her fingetips to tremble, her legs to quake. All the while, the blood pulsed through her veins at a rapid pace, burning underneath her skin. "Kish..."

"Hmm?" He asked her, kissing his way up to her jaw and then back down. He loved the way she was reacting. He never wanted to stop kissing her, because he never wanted to stop feeling like she needed him.
