Kisshu just wanted her to stop crying. She wasn't supposed to cry like this. "That's alright. I can live with that. Just so long as you love me at all." He rubbed her back soothingly. Trying to stop her tears. He just wanted her to smile again.

"I don't want to be saved if it means that I'd be a coward... I can't abandon them... I can't. I'm not a Mew Mew or anything, but I have to fight for my people... I'm sorry..." She exhaled into his shirt. She looked to the side, her cheek now pressed against his chest. "Gomen... I got your shirt wet..."

"That's alright, darlin'. It's just a shirt." He continued to stroke her hair. "And you're not a coward, love. I'd never call you a coward." He wanted to show her just what she meant to him, but he didn't know how to without upsetting her more. She was so fragile at this moment, he didn't want to make it worse.

Hitomi pulled back a bit, wiping her eyes with the palms of her hands. She was silent for a moment, but eventually looked up at him with that same reassuring smile that she always gave whenever someone had seen her do something unusual. Forcing a giggle, she said, "Thank you for that."

Kisshu knew that something wasn't right. He could tell that her giggle had been forced, that her smile was a grimace in her mind. He didn't want to push her though. "Mmhmm. Of course, sweetheart."

Hitomi reached down, clasping his hand in hers in a friendly way. "Why don't you tell me a little more about your people, Kish...?" She asked, quietly. "First though, can we go to my house? Mom's at work, today, so if we were to sit up in my room or something, I'm sure it wouldn't cause an issue..."

Kisshu liked the idea of seeing Hitomi's room, and he was glad she was taking interest in him. "Of course, Hika-Chan. Whatever you like." He took her into his arms again and began letting the air around him ripple and begin to change, starting to teleport them to her house.

Hitomi instantly pulled away as they reappeared in the unfamiliar place she had been forced to call her bedroom. The walls were white and covered with many different pictures of an older looking man and a younger one that looked exactly like the older one. She'd not long ago known these two to be her brother and father, but they were gone now. She took a few strides across the room, picking up a pair of dirty jeans off the floor. "Sorry for the mess..."

"It's not a problem Hika-Chan." He floated above the ground, sitting cross-legged. "So, ask me anything. Anything you like." He wanted to be open and honest with her.

"Uhm... How about we start with 'Why?' Why did you come here, exactly?" As she spoke, she resumed to pick random objects that were lying on the carpet.

"Well, the Earth was ours first, but then it became uninhabitable so we left it. However, the planet we ended up on is even worse. So now we've come back to take back what we need." He answered truthfully, watching her closely to see how she would react. He had tried to be careful of his words, not wanting to make her cry again.

"Are all of them like you?" She wasn't sure if she meant that in a bad way or a good way. "I mean, the way that you act?"

Kisshu shook his head. "No. We're like humans that way. We all have different personalities and emotions. For example, my friend Pai is a total hard-ass about facts and doing your duty and blah blah."

Hitomi sat down on the bed, keeping her curious eyes on his. "Does everybody dress in that way, or is just you guys?" She could recall seeing two other aliens on the news.

Kisshu looked down at himself and then up at her. "Why? Do I look weird or something? Yeah. We all dress this way." He looked down at himself. "Do I really look weird?

"Just a little bit, but I guess that to you, I must look weird, huh?" She looked down at her gross school uniform. "Speaking of..." She stood and opening up a dresser drawer, pulling out a long T-shirt. "I'll be right back." She went into the bathroom and shut the door, locking it behind her. Just in case.

Kisshu thought noticed immediately that she locked the door. Perhaps she hadn't realized that he could easily just teleport into the room? He sighed as he waited for her. She didn't look weird to him at all. She really was quite beautiful...just like his Ichigo.

Hitomi came out, carrying the uniform limp over her arm. She wore only that long T-Shirt, not seeming to care that he could see her bare legs. It was getting dark outside, anyway. Letting the uniform fall into a laundry basket, she practically fell down on to the bed, her arms outstretched. "Okay, let's see... What's the new planet like, then? Is it really so far beyond repair?"

"It's really bad." He sighed and shook his head. "Really bad. There's no way we can survive there for much longer. Every day more and more people die." A few tears leaked from his eyes. "We have to save them..."

Hitomi stared at him for a moment, contemplating her opinions in her head. On one hand, she wanted to make him feel better. On the other, however, she didn't want to make it seem like she was taking his side. A sigh escaped her throat. "Is there any way that I can help? Me, personally?"

There was one thing that he wanted to tell her. You can come with me. But he had already made her cry once today. He didn't want to do it again. "There's not really anything you can do without switching sides, and I won't ask that of you again."

Hitomi sighed, looking back up to the ceiling. "I see... What if I were to be a neutral party, then? You know, sort of in between? I honestly don't see why we can't form a truce... We have so much room, so many resources. And your people could honestly save us a lot of grief."

Kisshu had never thought of it that way. The Earth truly was so big...and there weren't so many of his people left... "I'd like for you to do that, then, Hika. I wouldn't like being against you very much."

Hitomi looked up at him. "You should talk to some of the leaders of our planet. President of the United States, Ambassidor of Russia, Prime Minister of Japan... I'm sure they would listen. We're not quite as bad as we seem, you know." She winked at him, sitting up.

"The President of the United States? Isn't he that stupid guy that nobody likes?" Kisshu raised an eyebrow. "The one with the big ears?" Kisshu tried to keep the heat from flooding his face as she winked at him. She really had no clue how utterly sexy she was, did she? He clenched his fists to keep himself from trying to kiss her again.
