Alice laid down as well, staring up into the sky as she thought about all the things that had happened to her in the last two days. Life was finally good. "It's a nice day..." Her eyelids were growing heavy under the heat of the sun.

"...Love...you..." Alice felt safe with Leo. He was so good to her, how could she not? For the first time in so many years, as she fell asleep, she didn't have the nightmare. Instead, she slept dreamlessly.
