You're going to turn out to be one of those too nice for your own good ones aren't you? She thought, but gave a sheepish smile in return. "No, just looking for my family, we got separated about two weeks ago when our house was destroyed. We have a notice among what's left about it being rebuilt, but I haven't seen them since." She replied, making up a story on the spot, not missing a beat.

he pulled Avery out of bed to get ready for the day still worried about the girl from last night and if she made it to her family alright. He didn't want to leave her on her own but he wasn't going to push her to let him help her

It wasn't long before Cim's latest victim was discovered, a lecherous middle-aged man that was incredibly easy for her to lure in. His body looked as though it had been sucked of all moisture. Many were surprised, but few were too sad about it, not that they would express it openly.

he picked Avery up and shielded her from everything as he walked by completely unfazed by the scene but now even more worried about the girls safety even though he needed to not worry.

The local law enforcement handled the situation, gathering evidence and removing the body.
Cim was at the palace, discussing the training plans for new soldiers and officers while looking over other papers for the rest of the new people of the new land.
