Kayne continued to read and every so often laugh at a part in the book but other than that he paid the world he loathed no attention

Axella settled in a little shelter she made after making sure it was well hidden and protected and then went to sleep
Kayne worked late at teh ice cream parlor

Axella slept in until about noon.
Kayne was there to work until the store closed at one in the morning. He and a female worker who was similar in personality to Kayne so they got along fine.
"Who in the right mind would want ice cream at midnight?" She questioned.
"Who knows." He responded

"Very picturesque." Axella commented, sitting above with her human height of five foot nothing. She kept her wings out, it was easier to maintain human size that way but even so she was still a small but pretty girl.
"Yes." He answered. The first time Skye had seen him was while he was working at the ice cream parlor

"What?" She asked laying face down on the branch with her head turned sideways on her crossed arms like a pillow, long hair hanging down and part of her blue flowy dress hanging down and flowing gently in the breeze.
"Cone or cup?" he asked
