He took Dave straight to their manager who fired him. Kayne then left.

Kayne changed to his normal form and quickly flew out a window

"give her to me now." he said sternly, Mae looked down and handed him the jar, he sighed and went to his room and took the jar onto his balcony "I'm sorry about her." he said as he opened the jar

"She's crazy!" She said horsly with an expression of disbelief and said, "I've heard stories about human children but none like her, she's insane." She fluttered at a safe distance away from him.
The difference was that what Kayne was doing didn't make sound. He was practicing with using two kinds of magic at once

After a little while longer Kayne stopped and sat by a stream

she walked out of the apartment and went for a walk in the woods to find a place to draw for her art assignment

"I had, until a young human trapped me in a net and put me in a jar so I'll have to find a better place where nets are scarce. Thanks for the help." She said after using magic to help her vocal chords heal.
