I have finally decided to put up this character, I've had her and her crew in mind for about two years now and I finally stop procrastinating
Name: Astrid
Meaning: Divine strength
Origin: Danish
Age: 18
Hair: Long, brown
Eyes: Dark green
Height: 5’6”
Weapon: swords
Fear: Fire, tight spaces, loosing members of her crew
Status: Captain of all female pirate crew
Personality: She is the no-nonsense type of girl but she knows when the time is to have fun and when not to. She shows tough love and rarely hands out complements. She cares deeply for her crew and is the youngest girl on the ship. She became captain because the captain before her knew she was the best choice. She has been captain since she was 16.
Likes: Open sea, swimming, running, fighting, helping others
Dislikes: Stealing, murder, hurting others, unless they give her a reason to hurt them then she doesn’t care.
Good points: Caring, when she believes it’s not a good time to have fun and relax, she’s always right, makes good decisions, good judgment, open-minded
Bad points: Stiff, cold, distant, stubborn, no sense of direction without a compass, can barely read a map
Family: Her older sister, who is the oldest of the crew
History: Her ship, called Lynette, was built by an all female crew and ever since then, it has been run by only females. Legend has it that there can be only a female captain and first mate otherwise the ship will not sail, it is unknown if it is true or not but no one has dared to test it. Astrid and her sister grew up on the Lynette, being raised by the crew. Early on it showed that Astrid belonged at sea and instead of getting seasick, she got sick when they were on land because she was so used to being on a ship. She started learning how to sword fight and how to shoot when she was able to walk and everyone on the ships knows how to read and write even though most women weren’t allowed to.
