She went straight to her room and put her book on one of the bookshelves that covored almost all the walls and sat at her desk and started to write in a notebook with many chemical equations in it.

She started testing some chemicals and every-so-often something would explode, luckily she would duck in time.
"What are you blowing up in There?" Adahy called through the door.
"Just some harmless chemicals...well they SHOULD be harmless." She called back. She heard him sigh and walk away

She jerked awake and looked around to find whoever it was that triggered the alarm. No one was in her room so she got up and checked in her brother's rooms and down the stairs.

She walked around but decided that it must have just been a bug or something, she was more of convincing herself of that so she wouldn't think there was something wrong with her alarm and besides, she thought, even if someone did break in it's not like they had anything useful, they didn't care for expensive stuff, just books and sentimental items

She went back to bed and slept till three in the afternoon and then headed to the Auditorium for the auditions.
Cynthia was in the mountains looking for the same monster

SInce it was the next day, when Matthew's father woke up and found that things were missing he got very pissed off and took his anger out on Matthew even though it was his fault for not trusting technology.

At about five Aiyana went back to the auditorium to see the results of the auditions and her jaw dropped when she saw her name next to Christine. Jerry was with her and said, "What's wrong? Did you not get the part?"
"No...they casted me as Christine." She said slowly, completely shocked.
"The lead? That's awesome!" Jerry said hugging her.
"No it's not! I've never seriously sang in front of people like that! And I've never taken lessons on singng opera!" She argued.
