Matthew lurked around in the dark alley ways of a town he and his servants Lag and Azu had just entered, it was near midnight they dared not to wonder around in the open to attracted any attention to themselves. Matthew had a large bounty over his head for killing a vampire hunters family a few years ago, so lurking around in the shadows was the best choice for him in a town they had never been in before. Behind him Lag was helping Azu walk, he was normally very well at walking on his own with out a cane but not always. Lag suddenly stood very still as he stopped Azu from walking and looked at Matthew then behind him he also looked from side to side and up at the sky with a questioning look. "Don't worry young Lag, it just be a cat no need to fear." Azu said calmly and quietly Lag gave a small nod even though Azu would not be able to see it he then continued walking and helping Azu walk trying to quickly catch up with his master Matthew.

Jerry and Aiyana walked down the street heading to the woods to meet their friend Cynthia. She was to keep an eye out for a specific monster that Artemis wanted her to find so she would be in the town for a little while. But since Cynthia prefered night over day, they were meeting her at night of course.
"Cynthia's right, night's way better than day." Ayiana commented.
"That's only because you're always inside during the day either sleeping or working on a super computer or something like that." Jerry said.
"No, I'm usually reading." She said in a joking exasperated tone.

Matthew stoped walking a smirk appeared on his face as he could smell the movement of humans. "No." Lag told him with a slightly annoyed tone. "You can't tell me no!" Matthew looked at Lag and Lag just glared at him. "No." he said again and Matthew grew annoyed with him. "Yes." Matthew agrued. "No." Lag said again. "We can't be drawing attention to ourselves!" he added. "Tch" Matthew turned his head and continued walking down the alley way.

"Cynthia!" Jery said excitedly and ran to the small girl and flung her arms around her.
"Good to see you to Jerry." Cynthia said putting her bow away.
"Hey Cynthia, hows the hunting going?" Aiyana asked.
"We have found nothing. Artemis is not in a good mood so we all spilt up to cover more ground and when Artemis gets mad, you want to stay away." She said slightly bitter in tone.
"There's always slow periods in time, we jyst have to get through them." Aiyana answered.
"But they're so slow." Jerry wined.
"Yeah that's why they call it slow." Cynthia said.
"Oh shush, I know that." She said rolling her eyes.

Matthew took off, running towards the sent of humans. Lag cursed under his breathe, looked at Azu and told him "Stay here, I'm going after the idiot." and ran off after Matthew. Azu sat down pulling his violin out of it's case a messed with the strings as he waited for them both to come back. Matthew was now hiding up in a tree not far from the three girls, wanting so badly to taste their blood upon his lips. Lag soon appeared at Matthew's side with a ticked off look, he glared at his master wanting ever so badly to punch him in the face but at the same time he did not want to be killed even though he hated being the monster he called himself.

Cynthia imedeately drew her bow and had it directed at the branches of the tree ready to shoot.
"Target practice or something?" Jerry asked.
"No. We are being watched." Ayiana told her.
"Well that makes more sense than Cynthia randomly pulling out her bow." She said shrugging, not really worried about anything.
"We're not idiots, or at least two of us aren't so you might as well come out of hiding." Cynthia said.

Matthew jumped down from the tree branch landing right next to the girls. Lag sighed and followed his master with a pissed off look on his face.
"Hello ladies" Matthew said with a have smile rather then his normal emotionless look.
Lag was just glaring at Matthew as if he were thinking about ripping his head off.

"Hiya stalker dude and pissed off friend of stalker dude" Jerry said with a smile and a wave while Cynthia still had her arrow pointed at them defensively and Ayiana just stood there completely bored.

"Stalker; a person obsessed with another to the point of insanity. I.E. following one everywhere, calling constantly, not following restraining orders. I little lady am not a "stalker." Matthew smarted off to Jerry with a bored tone.

"like I care about specific definitions." Jerry said waving it off.
"Even if that is the literal deffinition and as far as we know, he doesn't match the description." Aiyana said simply.
"Again, I don't care." She repeated.
"And you can stop arguing before I shoot you with an arrow." Cynthia said lowering her bow but still glared at the two boys.
"You know you're not ever going to get a boyfriend with that attitude." Jerry said quietly.
That's kind of the point of being a maiden forever though. No physical romatic affairs with anyone and boyfriend would typically fall under that category. Aiyana thought to herself but instead just continued to observe the scene with a blank expression.

"Boring." Mattew said just before jumping the girl who annoyed him most, Jerry. He bit her hard digging his fangs into her shoulder and drank her blood. "DAMMIT MATTHEW!" Lag yelled getting even more pissed off the quickly covered his nose with his hand and backed away a bit.

Cynthia immedaitely shot several arrows at him and they went straight into him and pulled out a few hunting knives as well prepared for a fight. Jerry immedaitely got pissed off and threw him off and pulled out a gun from her boot and aimed it at Mathew.
"Hm, haven't crossed paths with vampires in a while." Aiyana commented, knowing Jerry would be okay. Not the first time she's been attacked by vamps and it probably wouldn't be the last, it was just the first time she'd been bitten.
"Stay away from my friends you stupid boy." Cynthia said angrily, she said the word 'boy' like it was a plague or something. The ground at their feet started to rumble and three skeletons in full battle armor climbed out of the ground.

Matthew had quickly turned into a bat before he could get hit with the arrows he flew off leaving Lag behind like that brat he was. Lag let out a low growl highly annoyed by his master and then turned his attention to the skeletons.

"Stand down. Go back to the Underworld." Cynthia said to the and they lowered their weapons and went back into the ground as it closed back up.
"If I ever see that boy near my friends again, he'll be going to the Underworld the way everyone else does, just some words of warning." Cynthia said to Lag.
"That would be funny to see, especially when he'd meet your dad." Jerry commented, not even paying attention to the fact that she was still bleeding.
"You can be such a blonde, you're still bleeding stupid." Ayiana said to her. She turned to Lag and said, "Is she going to become a vamp?"

"Well good, It's bad enough his stupid saliva is on me, I don't want his venome too. Now I gotta go home and sterilize my neck with a blowtorch" Jerry said.
"That would kill you or hospitalize you." Aiyana said.
"It's an expression, I'm not really going to put a blowtorch to myself." She argued.
Cynthia ignored them and said to Lag, "I'm guessing you're one of thoes people?"

"I assume you mean vampire.....sadly yes." Lag replied with a slightly annoyed tone as he stared at Cynthia and tried his best to ignore the smell of Jerry's blood, he places his hand back over his nose getting very tempted to attack one of them. "I should go now." He said turning and running away from them.

"Okay come on, lets get you home before you die of blood loss you oblivious girl." Cynthia said draggin Jerry along.
"I'm fine really." She argued.
"Just because you don't notice it now, doesn't change the fact that you're still bleeding you dumb blonde." Aiyana said.
"Hey now, not all blondes are stupid, I'm just oblivious at times okay?" Jerry said but followed anyway.

Once Lag got back to where Azu was, he draged him off and searched for his stupid master, it took him till six in the morning just to pick up his sent and find where ever the hell it was he ran off to.

Aiyana walked back home once she walked with Cynthia and Jerry to Jerry's house. Cynthia was staying with her while she was in town. She listened to music while she walked.

Matthew was hanging out in one of his mansions, just sitting in a room with nothing but a chair in it along with some human skulls. Lag walked up to him and sat at his feet. "You really need to be more careful my lord..." He spoke with a hushed tone.

Aiyana ignored her brothers, as they pestered her about what happened while she was gone, and got a book from her room and went to the roof.
"So what are you on the hunt for this time?" Jerry asked Cynthia at her house.
"Sorry Jear Bear but that is classified, can't tell anyone, just between the hunters and Artemis for now." Cynthia said with a smile.
"Well damn I wanted to help." Jerry muttered.
"Oh you can." Cynthia answered.

Lag let out a sigh and knew it was true. He would put his life on the line just for the spoiled little brat his master is.

"What?" She asked.
"Where are you?" He asked.
"Outside on the roof." She answered and he stuck his head out the wondow and asked, "What the hell are you doing up there? You could fall and hit your head."
"Then I would be as dumb as you." She answered.
"I resent that." He said.
"I don' care and I'm here cause I want to be alone and away from your shouting." She answered.

"I'm bored, go find me a new toy to play with!" Matthew ordered Lag. He let out another sigh and stood up. "As you wish my lord." He bowed before turnning and walking away, leaving the room and leaving the place.
