Ryoji sat on a park bench, it was almost three in the morning. He just sat there alone in the dim light of the moon smoking some weed to get high trying to forget the horrible day he had at work.
He hated working at a bar but he tried his best to suck it up so he could help out his cousin Melia. Ryoji took another long drag of the joint looked up at the moon and let the smoke come out of his mouth.

[Maki Hana]

_{Maki was walking around late at night as usual, her chronic insomnia keeping her up throughout the long hours of the night, ever since she refused to take her sleeping pills. She stared at the sky, letting her mind wander off as usual, not paying attention to anything.}

Ryoji finished smoking stood up and stretched. "I need more money dammit..." he sighed and put his hands in his pockets.

[Maki Hana]

_{Maki continued her walk, she spotted Ryoji and walked over to him "Hey Ryoji" she said,grinning}

Ryoji looked at her but didn't smile, he looked very out of it and it took him awhile to respond to her. "oh....hello Maki."

[Maki Hana]

_{Maki smelled the familiar smell of weed in the air, she thought off for a moment and replied. "so how are you?"}

"I'm......okay" He replied. he brushed his fingures through his hair moving some of his bangs away from his blood shot eyes. "How be you?" he asked.

[Maki Hana]

_{"thats good" she looked up at the sky wondering what to say, she really didnt want to end the conversation, she continued searching for a question or statement in her mind. "So um, do you wanna go for a walk together?" she asked putting her hands in her sweatshirts pockets}

"Sure" Ryoji replied and began to walk, he stumbled at bit but then walked normally and yawned.

[Maki Hana]

_{She walked along side him, "its really nice out tonight~" she said as she stretched and rubbed her eyes}

"Yea, it feels so nice out to night...." he replied as he walked close by her, glancing at her but also trying to pay attention to where he walked so he didn't trip or walk into something.

[Maki Hana]

_{"yeah"she nodded "i love going for walks at night....its really relaxing" she said as she started to nibble at her thumb nail.}

Ryoji pulled one hand out of his pocket and looped his arm around hers as they walked together.

_{Maki smiled slightly and held herself close to him as they walked in the darkness}

Ryoji leaned his head on hers smiling a small smile. "I'm always feel so at ease when around you..." he whispered as he closed his eyes for a slight moment.

[Maki Hana]

_{Maki wrapped her arm around his shoulder "heh, im glad you feel at ease" she leaned her head on his.}

Ryoji kissed her head and stoped leaning on her, he continued watching where he was walking.

_{Maki smiled and continued walking, staring at the ground.}

Ryoji yawned as he streched and ended up walking into a lightpole. "shit" he mumbled.

_{"are you okay?" Maki said with a worried look on her face "you didnt hurt yourself did you?"}

"I'm fine." he replied quickly wipping away blood before she could see it but more blood dripped down from his nose.

[Maki Hana]

_{"oh no....." she mutters as she takes out a tissue from her sweater pocket and presses it gently against his nose "if im pressing too hard let me know"}

"E-eh..." Ryoji just took the tissue away from her and held it against his nose.

[Maki Hana]

_{"sorry.." she said as she put her hands back in her sweatshirt pockets.}

"It's fine....it's not your fault." He said with a small smile tying not to look at the blood leaking from his nose.
