A man came out and handed him a shirt, a simple white one. "Put it on." he said snorting at him, clearly displeased.

"Yes sir..." Leo taking the shirt and placing it over his chest. "Thank you for the shirt." Leo thanks the two as he bowed to show his respect.

"You see I came here to tell you that my friend Mika wouldn't be able to come to work today and needs to rest. I am very sorry for the inconvenience." Leo apologized trying to be as he tried to be very thoughtful in his words.

The woman sighed "Was she the one that was shot on the news last night?" She asked. The man looked displeased once agian. "I knew that girl was nothing but trouble." he said The woman galred at him "Takako, she tried to stop a robbry, sacraficeing her life, and she gave the cops enough tiem to get him." The woman smiled "She was agrassive, but she has a good heart." The woman said.

"Yes she was shot last night and we had to use my only shirt to help stop the bleeding. That's why I came to you without a shirt on, mam." Leo explaining any details that they might not have been aware of.

"No mam, I wasn't given anymore by my mother before I left home." Leo now noticing that he is revealing his past to complete strangers when he didn't even tell Mika about his past.

The woman blinked "And you live in the park with our new maid?" she asked him, her eyes clrealy showing she had something in mind.

"Yes mam." Leo not knowing if he should have been telling her all that he knew. "We live in the big Cherry Blossom Tree in the deep forest in the park." He explained as now he knew she was planning something for them.

"Yes mam!" Leo not really sure what her intent was, but he knew Mika wouldn't heal very well if she healed in the park and didn't get real medical treatment. So Leo rushed back to the park to find Mika and take her back to the house when he noticed she had fallen asleep again. "Looks like that even Mika isn't that tough." Leo smiled as he picked her up and started walking back to the house.

When Leo took her back, The woman had her ssighned a room and a docter came to look at her, and indeed the bullet was stuck inside, they would take her to the hospital in the morning. Mika made gruning noises in pain, she was hurting.

Leo just sat there across the room not knowing what he should do in case they learn her secret. And if he was going to have to escape with her like this to the next town closest to where they were.

Mika woke upup, sitiing stight up and then clushing her stoughmach. and monaed in pain. It was getting worse.... "Kitty boy?" she asked looking over at Leo.

"We're at the house you work at, the owners wanted me to bring you here so you could be treated." Leo explained wondering if she would yell at him or not for bringing her there.

"Yeah, they knew before I ever mentioned anything about the bullet wound. That's the reason the lady of the house wanted me to bring you here." Leo explained not knowing exactly why she did it himself.

Mika blinked "Thanks kitty boy." she said weakly punched him in the arm. Then clsoed her eye tightly as she waited for a pain to die down.

Mika shrugged "If you didn't I would die by tomarrow." she said. "Kitty boy, you think if I did die my parents would forgive me?" she asked, first time refering to her foster parents as parents.

"Sadly no... parent, real or not feel a deep connection to their child. Knowing that you died would probably make them sadder than anything else you could ever do." Leo said sadly knowing this from personal experience.
