'Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap.' That was the only sound on the empty tokyo street in the night. A young girl walked quietly along the road, barely keeping along the light. She pulled her hat closer to her head as the rain went from a light drizzle to a bit of a shower. She pulled the messenger bag that rested at her side up into her hand and close to her chest, trying to protect the contents inside and began to run.

Kage was walking around a corner and walked into a girl who had been running, He knocked them both down, "im sorry. I didnt know you were there." he stood up and reached for her hand

She ignored his hand and let out a gasp her messenger bag had fallen onto the ground, almost spilling the contents. She pulled her bag up and hugged it, pulling herself up. "Its fine." she muttered under her breath, bending down to pick up her hat off the ground and putting it back on her head, covering her eyes.

The girl shook her head, "No thank you. I'll be alright." Despite herself, she was shivering. It must have only been about fifty degrees outside that night, although it was only mid september. Plus, it was raining. And you've seen her outfit..

Kage sighed, "Please just let me take you where you need to be. Or here." he grabbed her hand gently and wrapped her fingers around his keys. "Its the red one"

She blinked, "Eh..?" she looked up at him, quizattically, although her eyes were still covered and it was still too dark to see her face. She sighed and handed him the keys, sighing softly. "I can't make any stupider decisions with my life than I already have.." she muttered to herself. "I need to be at the bakihara hotel at the end of the next district."

The girl stared at the car for a very long time. "That....is a really nice car..." she reluctantly got in, feeling a bit awkward. She stared at her wet messenger bag and sighed, checking the contents inside. To her relief, they were alright. She placed the bag on the floor.

He drove her to that hotel and walked around to her door, opening it. "Are you staying here or do you want me to wait"

"I live here." she replied bluntly. She pulled her hat off, revealing a soft and fragile looking face, enveloped with short messy brown hair and a pair of bright eyes that shone in the dim light, the color of cherry wood. "Thank you though. It was very kind of you."
