Start of Something New

Nodding, Chii went back to her drink, looking around again, noticing a group of girls with brightly colored hair walk into the cafe. Isn't that Ichigo-san from school? What's she doing here? she thought curiously.

[Gray]

Leo walked over to Ichigo as he needed to know if there were any other tables that he needed to work, "Hey Ichigo, is there anywhere else I need to wait?" Leo said smiling as he knew that he was doing much better than he expected.

Ichigo looked at him confused. "Leo?" she asked.

((remember, she doesn't speak English XD))

[Gray]

"Oh yeah, I forgot... you can't speak English." Leo smiled as he tried to tell her in a way she could understand.

She looked over at the fluster Leo, who looked like he was trying to pantomime, and turned her head to Lettuce slightly. "...What's he saying?"

Chii leaned over a little to hear what they were saying. I thought Leo said he didn't know anyone here... she thought confused.

[Gray]

"Lettuce, since you can speak English. Can you tell me if there is anything more I can do?" Leo smiled as he remembered that she could speak his language.

"We just got in here form school so I'm not sure what Keiichiro-san wants you to be doing..." she mumbled, looking sort of confused.

[Gray]

"Well then, I'll just ask Kenny what I can do then... thanks for the help anyways." Leo smiled as he walked back into the kitchen. "Hey Kenny, is there anything else you need me to do since the girls are starting to show up now?" He asked as he walked into the kitchen and saw him putting icing on a cake of some kind.

"No you should be good, we have more than enough help right now you can take a break if you want," Keiichiro said, dipping the froster (?) up and down while twirling it to make flower shaped drops.

[Gray]

"Thanks, I think I'll do that..." Leo said smiling as he walked out of the kitchen and over to Chii.

Chii looked up form her book as he approached. "Hey what's up?" she said, leaning back in her chair slightly. "Taking a break?"

[Gray]

"Yeah, pretty much." Leo said happily as he sat down in the seat across from her.

She put her book mark in and leaned forwards, resting her chin on her hands. "So? What's up? How'd you end up working in a place like this?"

[Gray]

"I just saw the girls fighting this big chimera and then I lead them here, which this happens to be where they work..." Leo said smiling as he thought it was kind of amusing.

[fanficismything]

"Chimera?" asked Chii, cocking her head to one side confused. "What's that?" A loud crash sounded from outside followed by scream and general panic. "Oh... That might be one I'm guessing."

[Gray]

"I think I should help..." Leo said as he got up and started running, his body changing as he ran. First his eyes changed from their normal brown to a blood red, and then his hair grew longer while changing it's color to red as well. He had a name for this form that he was in that came with it's own personality, he called it.... Blood.

Chii got up and followed Leo, focusing on changing herself as she Leo do on ahead. Her hair turned blond, her ears popped out, and her outfit slowly changed, causing some hampering of movement, but stopped she skidded to a halt outside to fine a huge salamander outside. "I guess that's what a chimera is..." she muttered to herself.

Leo then looked back at Chii and stared at her. "So, can you fight like that?" Leo asked as the Mew Mews couldn't transform with people around. They were on their own...

Chii grinned ferally, her slight fangs accenting it. "Of course," she said, and leapt into the air. "Blood Rose!" she shouted, and a staff with long blades at the ends appeared glowing in her right hand. She cut down with it, leaving a gash on the Chimera.

[Gray]

"I guess I can't let you fight it by yourself..." Leo said as he closed his eyes and focused, while whispering a few words. "Scarlet Scythes... Crescent Duos..." Then on his arms appeared two scythe like blades, looking as if they were made of pure blood. "Now it's time..." Leo muttered as he disappeared for a moment before slicing a giant 'X' into the chimera's stomach. "For you to die..." He said finishing his previous sentence, as his blood red eyes focused on the chimera and nothing else.

Chii landed lightly on the ground next to him. "Leo? You okay?" she asked worriedly, seeing him staring at the dead Chimera.

[Gray]

"There is no Leo while I'm like this.... there is only Blood..." He said seriously as he changed his sights to her, while he quickly swiped his blades. The blood from the chimera still dripping from them.

Chii was taken aback. "O-oh... Blood then... Are okay okay?" she asked, suddenly timid again.

[Gray]

"After a kill like this, why wouldn't I be...?" He said laughing a little as he looked at the dead chimera before he noticed and cleared his throat. "Anyways, are you alright?" Blood asked as he looked at her, his eyes burning red.

"Y-yeah..." she said hesitantly, looking down at the ground away from the blood. "I'm just confused."
