Kenmaru was silent, but following. A little boy walked over to Anna crying he said "Do you know where my mommy is?" looking at her with puppy eyes.

The boy smiled and with blinding speed, he bit into Anna's neck. Kenmaru was next to her in a flash, he grabbed the boy and threw him about half a block away. He grabbed Anna and threw her over his back, running through the trees.

Kenmaru was growling, "Be quiet." he said harshly, stopping in front of her house, "I'm staying here tonight." he said, not asking, just asserting. "They'll not rest once they smell your blood, and i won't rest until you're safe." and he opened the door, walking in and swinging her off his back and into his arms, he layed her on the couch and sat on the floor next to her.

Kenmaru nodded, he sat for a moment waiting until she left, then he got up and found a wash cloth. He walked up to her with a wet washcloth in his hand. "Come here." he said, placing the washcloth on her neck, dabbing off blood, "yoy live here alone?" he asked absently.

"Somthing like that." he said looking away again, his phone rang, "talk to me... uh-huh... no...no!... I said no goddammit!... because i'm not coming to the office tonight!... good... yeah, that'd be best... thank you Himaru" and he hung up, angrily. he was mumbling about his secretary being stupid and booking him a meeting.

He laughed, "It's not that simple." he shrugged, "She just thinks that i'm able to handle alot so she piles it on, and tonight, i cancelled everything so she's being a pest." He explained.
