Houka laid down on the dirt, stretching his arms out wide. "God, just when we can get going and start eliminating people before the next round, Leo makes us do a pit stop." He said with a slight frown. Looking up, he saw people still falling to the ground. "Well, I guess it couldn't hurt to take out a few of them..." Standing up and creating an oversoul with his gun, he aimed into the sky. As soon as he found a target, he started to fire.

Aya looked over the American Desert landscape and it was amazing.
"Wow. This is breath-taking." Aya whispered.
"It's really nothing new. I live somewhere around here." Sydra stated.
Aya was about to say something when the necklace began to shine. Aya looked at it and was in awe.
"Wow." Aya whispered.
'Is that thing reacting to Aya or to Leo?' Sydra thought.

Eioku watched in horror as Houka cocked his gun with so many people around. So many people that hadn't done anything to them. People that didn't even know their names. They were innocent.
"Well, I guess it couldn't hurt to take out a few of them..."
Before she could even utter a word, the gunshots rang out in her ears; Exploding through her head.
"H-Houka don't--!" She shouted, lunging forward, taking a firm grip on his arm.

Hao grinned, turning his head. "That's rather noble of you. You seem to care for this woman quite a bit." The satisfaction with this fact hung on his tongue as if it were nothing but a dangling piercing. "You have a reason to fight, hm? Heh... I'm afraid that may be your downfall, one day. Proceed with caution."

Houka's arm was grabbed and a shot blasted into the ground, creating a small crater. "Hey!" He said. "Don't fuck with that! You could get hurt."

Eioku tightly gripped Houka's sleeve, her fingertips clasping tighter and tighter the longer she looked at the smoking bullet hole in the dirt. That very well could have pierced somebody's heart for no reason. She looked up to him, appalled and distressed.
"Why would you do that?!" She shouted, tugging on him. "Nobody's done anything to you! That's not going to give you anything but bad karma!"

Leo sighed and looked up more. "I'm sorry... but I have to push myself that much or I won't be able to help her..." He said as he raised his hand up to block out the sun.

"I never said that I was going to stop you," Hao said, leaning his head back. The sunbeams were warm on his face, making him sigh with satisfaction. "I'm telling you one thing though. Most people who die from suicide almost never make it back. Your best bet is to be killed in a shaman battle, or to have an out of body experience."

Eioku pulled back, turning away from him. She crossed her arms over her chest, huffing out an angry sigh. He'd done it now. The only other time she'd ever been so angry with Houka was when they'd first met, when he'd kidnapped her.

Aya noticed the feather slow to a stop and she looked at Sydra. Sydra had a fairly serious expression on her face as they came to a nearby oasis.
"I need to see if you can stand. You couldn't when you were falling in and out of unconsciousness." Sydra stated.
"I was?" Aya asked.
Sydra nodded and pulled off the feather. She stood waiting for Aya to step off. Aya stepped down but started to wobble a bit.
'Not good. I can't manipulate her for a while. She's still recovering.' Sydra stated.
Aya was about to fall over when Sydra rested her hand on her shoulder.
"Well, Kisani. You're gonna have to keep that Oversoul for a while until Aya can walk." Sydra stated.
"Yes, Miss Sydra." Kisani answered.
"Sorry, I'm a mess." Aya stated.
"No big. Just gonna have to keep you off your feet for a bit." Sydra said, as she placed Aya back on the feather.

"Well the most I've ever really done is use the necklace my mother gave me and my own blood as mediums while fighting Sydra." Leo said grinning at Hao. He couldn't understand why people thought he was so bad, Hao was actually pretty nice.

Hao stood, stretching his arms up over his head. "Well... I suppose that might count for something," he said, quietly. "But what I mean is full blown contact with the spirit world, a trip to the other side and back again. It's quite an amazing experience."

Aya looked at Sydra as she reached into her bag.
"I hope your brother isn't dead." Sydra stated, getting out a cup.
She walked to the water hole and dipped it into the water. She looked at it and sighed.
"We can't drink this water." Sydra stated.
"Why?" Aya asked.
"It's not fresh. We can find somewhere else. I'm sure." Sydra stated.
"You know your a really good friend." Aya smiled.

Leo looked up at Blood, confused. "What do you mean Blood...?" He asked as he got up.

Aya smiled as Sydra walked along side the feather. Aya looked down and noticed that the light from the necklace very bright.
"I wonder what it is." Aya stated.
"I don't know, Milady but it's very pretty." Tori replied in her space saver form.
"Probably nothing more than a dime store trinket attached to a chain." Sydra snapped.
Tori growled at Sydra when Kisani stopped her.
"I don't think so. I've never seen something this pretty in a thrift shop." Aya stated.

"Yes Leo, I was there when you were born..." Blood said as she tried to explain what happened the night Leo was born.

SUDDENLY THE ASAKURA BUNCH DROPS OUT OF NOWHERE AFTER THEIR APPARENTLY EXTREMELY LONG FALL. THEY ALL USE THEIR OVERSOULS AND END UP SAVE AND SOUND. (I guess)

Ushio slowly walked up to Eioku, tightly grasping two of the young woman's fingers with her entire hand. "Eioku-Chan..." She said, quietly. "Houka is an idiot. There's no need to get so upset over a reckless fool such as he. His success rate is 2% lower than yours."

Eioku blinked, resisting the urge to shudder away from Ushio's cold, little hand. She could tell by the look in Ushio's eyes that her words were meant to be delivered as comfort for the soul, rather than the cold concrete bullets that Eioku had heard.

Aya was staring at the necklace.
"Milady, what's wrong?" Tori whispered.
"I don't think it was right for me to have something so important." Aya replied.
Before Tori could answer, an explosion of some sort came from a mile away. Sydra climbed onto the feather.
"That would be your brother." Sydra stated.
