"But I do..." Leo said as he looked at her, his eyes now getting serious. "I know I wasn't going to be good enough for her and now that she has a friend maybe she can find a reason to live..." He said before looking away. "And I had something I had to do, and I couldn't have been able to do it without hurting her, and I'm sorry..." He whispered.

"That's still not true." Aya whispered, finally.
She refused to look at Leo now. She was on the verge of tears. She shook her head and stared out at the runway.
"Ai?" Sydra started.
Sydra rubbed Aya's back when Aya knocked her hand away. Aya turned to Leo with an expression that ripped out Sydra's heart.
"If you had just told me, it wouldn't have hurt as much but I had to find out a whole month later? You promised you'd stay. It doesn't even matter anymore." Aya whispered, turning away. "No one will make me have a purpose again. I won't let them."

Leo looked away as he felt all the pain that he caused her, making him feel that much worse about leaving. "I'm sorry Aya.... I'm sorry that I failed you..." He whispered before teleporting away, his heart now starting to slowly die on the inside.

Aya dropped her head as Sydra tried to comprehend what happened her ability hindered her at the moment.
"What just happened?" Sydra asked.
"I don't even understand myself." Aya whispered, cupping her face. "He just left and I- I don't know why."
Sydra sighed and pulled Aya into a hug. Sydra smiled and rubbed her back.
"It will be okay." She whispered, "When the time comes, you'll find out why."
Aya's anger suddenly came back.
"I don't want to know why. I'm better off not meeting him. If I don't let anyone get close, no one can hurt or hinder me again." Aya snapped.
Sydra sighed. This wasn't going to end well but she searched for Leo.
"Interesting thoughts." Sydra whispered.

Eioku leaned back in the seat, her arms stretched up high above her. She had a cat-like look on her face, her legs brought up to her chest as she squealed. "This is sooooo comfy!!" She said in a high-pitched voice, practically rolling around on the coushin. "I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT!"
Hao placed his chin on his hand, staring out the window at the clouds, his usual, innocent smile looming on his lips.
"Hmm... Settle down, Eioku."

Leo then appeared behind Hao and sighed. "Hey Hao, I have a question and I don't know who to turn to anymore... or anyone that would help me answer it." He said sadly.

Hao's smile faded, his eyes turning puppyish. He turned in his seat, sitting up on his knees. "Oh, that's a toughie, buddy," he said, his lip curling into a childish pout. "I'm sure that they don't hate you, they just dislike what you've done lately."
Suddenly, his hand slipped downward, touching Eioku's shoulder.
"Right, Eioku-Chan?"
No response.

Sydra caught his mind waves and looked over her shoulder. The cat boy's mind was unsure about everything. Sydra turned to Aya and Aya was wiping tears from her face.
'You can't not care about anyone, Aya. He still likes you.' Sydra thought, 'He's just unsure about your feelings.'

Eioku scoffed, standing from her seat, turning around to face him.

Leo's eyes stared down Eioku, changing back to red like they were before. "I don't want to hear a single word about this from you... especially someone that can't love one person for a reason, but forgets that reason when it's someone else." He said coldly to Eioku, he didn't want any crap from her. All he ever wanted was to help her and was in no mood...

"Forget that reason? Who says that I FORGET that reason with ANYBODY?" Eioku said, kneeling forward on the chair and looking him straight in the eye. "I can't be with ANYBODY. He won't let me forget, and APPARENTLY neither will you."
Hao stood, placing a hand on Eioku's shoulder. "Eioku-Chan," he said, softly. "Time to settle down. If it makes you more comfortable, go sit with Houka, alright?"

We'll have to fight eachother. And if you die, or I die, I'm not going to let a romance... distill our chances of winning.
'He's right about one thing. I will die and I can't let him defeat Yoh. My brother's happiness is the only reason for my existence. I can't let Ren or Leo hinder me.' Aya thought.
Her eyes narrowed as the plane began to pick up speed. She turned her head and looked at Ren. She should have never opened her heart to either one. That was her downfall. She had believed she could be happy. She could have started a family all her own. Now, it would never happen. She realized she was looking at Ren far too long and looked away.
'Sorry, Ren. I don't plan on winning but I will take you out if you get in my brother's way.' Aya thought.

Yoh immediately passed out on the plane, snoring silently. Kaze, continuing to stare out the window, got bored and started to twiddle his thumbs. Houka however, sat right at the back of the plane with his feet up on the top the seat in front of him. A stewardess gave him a sour look and he gave her a finger people didn't like.

Leo got up and started to walk away. "Don't bother, I don't care anymore..." He said in anger, even though he was lying as he walked away. Leo still did care about both Aya and Eioku, but he couldn't see even a spec of love or kindness towards him from Eioku like there was before... when she saved him from becoming something that he was changing into again. Not to mention his leaving Aya so suddenly without even an explaination he felt that she could no longer be with him and that meant he would have to be alone again... just like before all this started.

Leo was moving to the back of the plane when someone tried to stop him, and without even thinking he turned around and sliced that person's head off with his blood. His eyes were a cold blood red as he saw the dead body next to him. He thought he should feel something for what he just did... but he felt nothing at all.

"Holy SHIT!" Sydra shouted, nearly spilling her drink.
She saw a severed head rolling down the aisle and slammed what was left of the alcoholic beverage.
"If therapy helped at all, I would seriously need it after this. Give me another one." Sydra said to the shocked stewardess.

Aya looked up at Leo. She was shocked, confused and angry at the newly dead body as Sydra purchased the whole bottle of liquor.

Though she had feigned her hatred for him she still cared about him. She reached to rest her hand on his but pulled back. Sydra watched still getting hammered on the now half full bottle of alcohol.
"What's wrong with you? You're not the same person." Aya whispered.

"That was the weaker me, the one that cared about others and wanted to be there for everyone. But I'm no longer weak, I'm giving up my emotions so that I can do things I couldn't do before... and now I won't feel the sadness of being all alone again." He explained as he looked down at the ground and balled up his hand into a fist.
