A motley assortment of around a dozen figures clad in brown coats and similar peculiar attire passed hastily through a grove of blossoming cherry blossom trees near a river in the city of Asahikawa. Two notible persons stuck out from the rest. One wore a black gas-mask and the other was a girl in her mid teens with snow white hair and an abnormally tense face. A hidden conflict was impending by the moment, as everyone in the group was in a hurry chattering amongst themselves in quieted tone.

"hey big brother" shai said falling out of a cherryblossem tree branch. " dont you think those people are cosplaying funny?" shai asked pointing over to Hellen and Raikov. " not sure but they dont look like their cosplaying" hau said as standing in the river water. shai ran over to Hellen. " miss if i may ask are you and your friend cosplaying?" shai asked hau sighed. " dont talk to strangers!" he yelled

Hellen ignored Shai's question as she passed some word-heavy papers to Raikov who passed them to a middle-aged man.
The group of characters continued to hasten down the walkway.

shai grew mad not likeing to be ignored. she gave a sigh and looked over at the people. " see dont talk to strang people man do they look weird" Hau laughed falling into the shallow water. " eh...they seem to be in a hurry..i wonder what's going on" shai thought to her self runing after them. " hey shai help me up" Hau called out not relizing his sister was gone.

shai sighed as she ran after them more not relizing how far away from Hau she had gotten. shai didnt look back her mind wasnt thinking about her brother or why she was fallowing these strange people she just felt like it. " umm....miss?" shai asked in a small voice over to Hellen.

"This is a confidential investigation, young girl. Scurry along, please." said a man in the group who was most likely in his mid twenties trying to shoo Shai away.

" why is it so confidential?" shai asked wanting to know more finding what they said more intresting. " they most likely wont tell me" shai thought to her self as she looked up at the man. " hey mr......what's your name?" shai asked still falowing them.

"eh...what's that?" shai asked pointing to the papers she had noticed that they had been carying and now trying to hide. " or those top secret or something?" she asked more intrested in all of them.

"Don't say I didn't warn you!" growled the man breaking from the group and shoving Shai away forcefully. Hellen grasped the man's outstretched arm, "How dare you do such a thing!" she said to the man. She then turned to Shai. "My appologies," She said in a polite tone, "but you really should not interfere with our affairs. I am here with the I.I.S.O.A.D conducting a highly important investigation. Please let us concentrate."

shai's left eye started to turn a deep purple as her pupil started to dissipear. "..sorry to have botherd you" she said rubing her left eye as if it was irritated * sry working on my spelling* as she looked over at the man that pushed her. she looked puzzled for a minuet then glanced over at the women. "The International Investigational Society of Outerworldly Affairs and Dillemas." explained Hellen letting go of the man's hand. "We are investigating an affair that happened in the Hidaka mountains a couple of days ago." she was interrupted by the man who had jostled her, "That's enough questions, little girl." he said glaring at her.

" the i-..the international...i-" shai said trying to repeat what hellen had said but found her self stumblibng over her words. she then quickly relized what the man has said. " HEY DONT CALL ME LITTLE!" shai yelled glairing back at him her pupil starting to reform but the color now red as the iris remained purpel though her right eye remind golden brown. " i have a name and it's SHAI! SHAI HIGERASHI! UNDERSTAND BIG GUY?!" she yelled.

The man dismissed Shai's question by simply turning away from her and letting out a muffled snicker as he did so. Hellen gave Shai a peculiar look as she joined the moving group.

" jerk" shai mumbeld but made sure it was loud enough for the man to here her she walked over to hellen now intrested in her story. " so miss...do you have like a bage or something to prove what you said is real?" shai asked her.
----at the river where hau was last left---
" shai?...hey shai?..SHAI-CHAN?!!!??!!" Hau yelled as he pulled him self out of the river bank and looked around the are for his sister. " crap....i bet she ran off after those strange people " he thought as he slowly came to a stop from runing around. " when i find you your in so much troubel!" Hau yelled kicking a sakura tree and makeing a few petals fall off .

The man who had shoved Shai flipped out a plausible badge for but a second then concealed it again. "There! Now scram!" yelled the man. Hellen glared at the man, "That's enough, Erasmas." she commanded.

shai looked over Erasma. " ok then ..well then wont bother you anymore" she said with a smile as she turned around and started to walk away. the side of side of Erasma's hand slowly started to form ice over it as shai's eye became normel agine.(sry he's fun to pick on)

Hau started runing not sure where they where at all. not paying attenchin to what he was doing he bumped in to a young man nocking him down. Hau looked down sorry about that...im sorta of in a rush...bye!" Hau yelled runing back off not looking back at the man. the man slowly pulled him self up finding it hard to do so becouse of all his clothing. " how strange....should i fallow?" he asked him self. " i think you should!" he asnswerd him self with a smile.

"Dirty little-!" growled Erasmas rubbing his hands together as if it were cold outside to rid his hand of the frost that had so rapidly formed. He lunged to break away from the procession, but Raikov caught him before he could- almost tripping him.
Before Shai could completely walk away, Hellen called to her, "Hey, you wouldn't happen to know anyone by the name of Luke Arrius would you?"
