Personality: Aya is calm and friendly. She cares about the people around her but she is very defensive around new people. When she gets to know them, she is very relaxed and kind. She also holds a sense of duty and devotion on a higher level than anyone else.

History: Born as the last of the Asakura triplets but the elder of the three was kept a secret from her and Yoh. Aya trained with Yoh and surpassed him quickly. Her grandfather was puzzled by the drastic increase in strength and ordered her to stop. Aya wanted to continue and secretly trained. She then realized she could command the sixth element, that being wind, much to her grandfather's dismay. She was punished by spending her days locked in a chamber deprived of many things. Yoh left for Tokyo three months after and she resumed her training only to find that her grandfather claimed she would die protecting Yoh. After that, Aya's bubbly personality disappeared. She trained and eventually, met her guardian ghost, Tori. Tori was a geisha and assassin that worked with Amidamaru.
