"Calm down!" Kisshu reached out and embraced her. "Please, I don't want you to get hurt any worse. "When you're better, I'll take you to him. Or, I'll go get him and bring him here. Just please, you need to recover." He pleaded. "Those men hurt you so badly..."

Cricket flinched her head down in his hold, her shoulders twitching back as she tried to pull away. "NO! NO, NO, NO!!" She screamed, trying to completely thrust her body out of his hold. "LET ME GO!! LET GO!!"

Kisshu didn't know what to do. He had tried to be civil, to be SWEET, to her, but she wasn't obeying. Finally he grabbed her arm roughly. "Sit down, goddammit! And shut the hell up!"

Cricket let out a short cry, raising her hands up above her head, her eyes tightly shut. Her limbs were completely tense, her legs pulled up close to her chest as if in a fetal position. "I'm sorry!" She shouted instantly.

Kisshu sighed regretfully. "I'm sorry...I lost my temper..." He looked away from her, trying not to harm her any farther. He had to be good to her, at least until she trusted him completely. Then he could cut her and toy with her.

Cricket lowered her hands, looking up at him with water-stained eyes. "I know that you know where he is..." She whispered, drawing backward a bit, her body naturally cowering away from him. "Just... Just tell me that he's okay..." Her gaze caught and stayed captivated upon the baige carpet.

"He's fine." Kisshu muttered, still trying to get a rein on his temper. "I told you that already. You, however, are not, and it doesn't help when you won't rest!"

Cricket still never looked away from the carpet. She sighed, turning her body a completely different direction. There was a soft haze in her eyes as she looked up to the ceiling, seeming to be lost in her own little world. Her own memories... "He... He didn't even try to help me... Just hid away..." She said to herself.

Kisshu felt his eyes soften and he reached out and touched the girl's back softly. "Poor thing. I'm sorry." He murmured. "You deserve better than that."

Cricket didn't seem to notice him there as she leaned back on his hand a bit, the tears dry on her eyes now. "Remember...? One time... You told me that it was okay to cry, didn't you? That it'd be okay... right...?" She shut her eyes, her head dropping. Her hands came up to her head, clutching them at the sides. "Ngh..."

"Shh, there there." He pulled her into another embrace, more gentle this time. "It's alright. It's ok." He tried to assure her.

"Vapooooorrrrr...." Cricket moaned, her tiny fingers tightly gripping his shirt. "I want to go home..."

"Shh. It'll be alright. If you rest up, I can get you home in no time." He promised her. "You just have to heal."

Cricket stared down at the bedsheets for a moment, slowly leaning back on to the bed. She shut her eyes, tightly, trying to escape the nightmare she was having. This bad dream, where she couldn't be with the one that she needed in her life, the one to ensure that her weak spots were filled in. This horrible nightmare where this strange man wouldn't let her leave, despite the pain that she was in... Didn't he understand what she had to do?

"Good girl. Just get some sleep." Kisshu whispered to her.

Cricket slowly drifted off to a restless sleep, praying that soon, she would wake up on Vapor's arm. That she could smell his cheap cologne and be content with it; That she could simply lie there for hours with him as he let the drugs settle gently into the cracks of his mind, a void that she couldn't seem to fill. She tossed and turned on the stranger's bed in the hours to come, moaning, crying out for him...

Kisshu almost felt guilty as the girl cried out the other boy's name in her sleep. She wanted so desperately to be with him, but then, how could he make her his toy? He sighed as he watched her fitfull sleep, wishing he could comfort her somehow and wondering why he would wish for something so ridiculous.

Cricket lied awake for many hours, not opening her eyes. The tears formed underneath her lids as she waited, waited for her lover to walk through the bedroom door and lie down next to her. Why wasn't he coming in...? Was he not home...? But she needed him so badly... Another soft moan escaped her as she tried to roll over, putting a bit of pressure on one of her bruises on the side of her body. "Are you there, baby...?" She called out, still not opening her eyes.

Kisshu sighed, realizing he couldn't keep her here any longer. He would have to take her back, and come to visit her. Maybe that way he could win her. "I'm sorry sweetheart, I'm not your boyfriend. But, if you're feeling a bit better, I think it should be safe to take you to him now."

Cricket shivered, finally letting herself look at him. Her eyes were softer than before, more calm. "Hmm..." She stretched out her arms over her head and yawned, sitting up. "I, uh... I want to appologize for last night..." She murmured, finally trying to catch a thorough glimpse at his face. "I was having reactions from a high dose. I'm sure you can understand that..." Her voice, now that she wasn't influenced by the toxins, was suprisingly grown up.

"A...high dose...?" He looked at her, confused. "What does that mean?" He shook his head, unable to figure it out.

Cricket smiled at him, softly. "I'm a drug addict," she said, lifting one finger up to the ceiling. There were multiple pricks and scars upon the soft flesh of her index, and watching him look at it only made her eyes soften. "I was having reactions from a bad bit of Marijuana. I... I didn't mean to lash out at you." She bowed her head a bit. "Forgive me. I really do appreciate your concern, and your efforts at trying to help me recover."

Kisshu's eyes softened. Hook, line, and sinker. "Of course darlin'. What else is a guy to do for such a pretty thing as yourself?"

Cricket chuckled to herself, looking away. "I really should be getting back..." She said softly, lightly pulling herself up to her feet.

"Of course." He tried to keep his smile light. She would be his before too long. Oh yes, he would have her.
