erm...uh...ermm....
Rae growled, there wasn't any abandoned buildings near here. She'd have to sleep outside tonight. Or I could find a cheap hotel...no...don't have enough money for that.
She looked up, it was going to be a bit chilly. Darn it all, though the thick grass was comfy, she wanted a bed to sleep in for once. Rubbing her shoulder, the one that had the cursed mark on it, she headed for the nearest park.

Kisshu watched the world below with disgust. These pitiful humans and their corrupt ways. it was a tragedy to see the earth in the hands of such inconsiderate degenerates as the human race. He would have to make sure they suffered for their transgressions. With a low growl he scanned the see of faces beneath him, looking for a victim.

Rae had that silly sensation that she was being watched. She didn't look around though, not like a normal person would. No, she went into a dark park where no one would find a dead person until morning. That dead person wouldn't be her. She was annoyed and need to beat on something so if someone wanted to mess with her then she would get that chance.

Kisshu caught sight of the perfect candidate, an unsuspecting girl trying to take shelter in the darkened park. A smirk curled at his lips, a mere expression of her cruelty. Thoughts festered within him, ways he could torture the girl; ways to make her scream and cry. Comforted by these dark thoughts, he began to follow her from overhead.

Rae heard something, it wasn't footsteps but it sounded like a person. She stopped, seemingly looking at the stars as she tried to place the sound. Nothing. It was like all of her senses had disapeared and a still silence had taken over.
Taking in steady breathes, Rae fought panic. Something was up but there wasn't anything she could really do to stop it if she didn't know what was causing it.

Kisshu's smirk grew as the girl began to act a bit panicky. Hm...this was going to be quite fun. He would wait until she had dropped her guard once more and the...He had to fight off the wicked chuckle growing in his throat.

Calm once again, Rae started walking again. Whoever was following her would come in time and she would take care of them whenever they chose to attack. Now confident, she started to let her guard down a bit- nothing could hurt her.

Kisshu smirked, seeing her once tensed shoulders relax. Oh yes, the time to strike would be soon...very soon. He licked his lips. This would be such fun. What sort of ways would he torment her? He could cut her up, let a chimera rough her up...they were so many options....

Sighing, Rae found a soft spot below an oak tree. She didn't lean against it, though, she just stared at the sky. It would look like she was dazed and watching the stars but she was listening-waiting.

Kisshu saw the dazed expression slip over his features and smirked. Now was the time to strike. He flew down on the other side of the tree she was under. "Hey there, honey. Wanna play?"

Without hesitation, Rae grabbed her bo staff and twisted around the tree. She aimed her staff at his throat.
"Do you?" Rae asked darkly as she tensed, ready to push the weapon into his throat.

What the--Rae whipped around. The person was smirking, seemingly happy that she was going to slaughter him. She examined him; she examined his guard. His guard was flawless; from his pointy ears to his...wait. Pointy ears?
Is he human?

Anger surged up in Rae and she charged at him, leaped and spun her staff at him. She knew he was just trying to piss her off but she let him. This anger gave her energy. That meant it would be easier to kill him.

Kisshu floated up a bit, dodging her furious attack. He laughed. "Silly human girl, you have no clue who you're playing with, do you?"

"I could say the same for you." Rae growled, her ears and tail popping. She ran at a tree and used it as a spring board to reach where the non-human was in a flash, running faster than a human should be able to run. Without a hint of a warning, she drove her staff into his stomach. She knew that because he wasn't a human, it might not hit but she had to try.

Kisshu coughed and sputtered as she hit him in the stomach. He tasted blood and glared. "Stupid girl; you shouldn't have done that!" He brought out his knives. He was going to cut her up good for making him bleed.

Rae saw the knives and flipped out of reach. Crap. "You're the one that was stalking me." Rae protested, bending her knees so she could dive out of the way of those knives.

"That's because you're my new toy, silly stupid girl." He growled to her. "And now I'm going to have to punish you for attacking me!" He lunged at her, causing an illusion to make it seem as if there were many of him, attacking her from all sides.

Rae saw what he did. She knew it was probably impossible but he was managing to stab her. When she tried to defend herself, she always went against an illusion.
"Only a coward attacks this way." She yelled as the pain started to overwhelm her.

With a wince of pain, Rae then twisted her staff around, driving them through all of the hims. She hit something solid, though it wasn't as hard as it should have been. The loss of blood was slowing her and weakening her blows.
I have to finish this quickly...before I pass out.

Kisshu felt her staff hit him, but it wasn't very hard at all. He smirked. She was losing it. He would have her soon. "Now NOW-" He gripped her throat. "Let's not be so hasty!"

Rae dropped her bo staff, not willing to lose any more strength. Will the last of her will, she grabbed his wrist and twisted. It was one of the first moves you learned in martial arts; forcing someone to let go.
She fell down, coughing and gasping for breath. Reaching for her staff, she tried to get ready for another attack.
