This is a private RP between Azu and I. Azu, your intro doesn't have to be this long. I had it preprepared.

It was mid January in the midst of Tokyo. Snow had claimed the city streets, and people were ofted caught slipping and sliding while trying to take down the New Years decorations from weeks ago. Sales were starting to sky rocket in the "Fireplay CD Shop," after all, Christmas was done and over with, so everyone was stocking up on the now cheap Christmas CD's for next year. The assistant manager sat at the counter in a rolling chair, chomping down on green bubblegum. She had a political magazine in between her fingers, flipping through the pages with an unreknowned (I know that's a word, just not how to spell it) grace.
Katherine Mason; Once an orphan in America, now a struggling teenager in Japan. Once a big fish in a little pond, now a small fish in a big pond. Which was more comfortable she couldn't say. After all, there really couldn't be any comfort knowing that her elder and only brother Raul was constantly breathing down her neck. Checking the grades, scaring off the guy friends, everything that a father would do and so much more. Despite her everlasting gratitude towards the man for getting her out of that dreadful orphanage, it got seriously annoying, sometimes.
A low chuckle escaped her throat as she finished reading an article about the newest president elect over in the United States, Barack Obama. What a joke. She was sooo glad that she was far gone, away from that country, BEFORE all Hell broke loose.
"He just repeats everything he says, just like that other guy," she said to no one. "It's as if saying, 'I see what I eat,' is the same thing as, 'I eat what I see.' How pathetic..."
She laughed it all off, as usual. What was her fellow man coming to? Her eyes glanced around the shop. No one was in at this hour. Midnight? Puhlease. Why was there a such thing as a night shift in a CD / Coffee shop, anyway?
Boredom...
