She trembled as he looked at her. Why was he lying? What had he done? "Kisshu...why were you bleeding?! I can smell it, Kisshu! I can smell it on you!" Her voice rose to hysteria and tears stung at her eyes. That smell....that disgusting smell...

Kisshu let go of her, seeing that she was trembling as badly as she was. His face was tense but frightened at the same time as he reeled backwards a few steps. He shook his head, keeping his eyes wide open and directly on hers. "I was not bleeding," he said sternly, putting his hand down on the table behind him. "Calm down, you're going to give yourself a panic attack over nothing."
But it wasn't nothing, and he knew that she knew. Hopefully she would get the hint that it was not something he wanted to speak of, espessually not to her, and espessually not in front of Taruto.

Alice was going nuts, the smell making her need to lash out again. He had been bleeding. Why was he bleeding? Why was he lying? She turned around and gripped the counter. "Fine." She growled out, angry as hell. "If you're going to lie to me, then don't speak at all!" She snapped. There was intense pain in her fingers as she gripped down, tighter and tighter. Maybe they would break. Did it really matter?
Why was he bleeding? Her heart was pounding. Why couldn't he just tell her? Maybe he didn't trust her. Why wouldn't he trust her? Maybe he didn't love her.
No. He promised her he loved her. You're gullible and easy to lie to No....he loved her....why wouldn't he tell her?
Alice swallowed a scream, the thoughts spinning through her head becoming too much to bear.

Kisshu's eyes darkened as she turned her back to him, refusing to face him. What the hell? If it was something he didn't want to talk about, she seriously had no right to try and force it upon him by expressing her anger in this fashion. He gripped down on the table tightly, his eyes piercing into the back of her head. The usual sensations that came when he was angry were starting to boil up in his chest; the need to force her to the ground, the prolonged urge to make her cry and scream his name. A deep growl could be heard from the cresets of his throat.
"You listen to me, Alice," he said darkly, "I don't have any issues with cutting you if you plan to rebel against me."
Kisshu was back. Kisshu was longing to break her again.
He felt marvelous...

You're just too easy to deceive. Such a foolish, stupid girl. He had you wrapped around his finger. Just another part of the game.
"No...."she whispered, shaking her head. "No no....it can't be true..." She was sobbing, lowering herself slowly to the ground. "It can't be true!" She said a bit louder. "You haven't been lying! No! IT ISN'T TRUE!" She screamed, covering her ears, trying to make the lies and the pain stop.
He loved her. He had to. If he got tired of her, fine, she could live with that. But he hadn't lied...he couldn't have lied all along...

Kisshu's eyebrow twitched as he heard her screaming. "Shut up!" He shouted, dropping down in front of her. He grabbed on to her shoulder, yanking her forward. "Get up and look at me if you're going to act like this, huh?! At least show me some passion in what you're doing if this is the way you're going to respond to all I've done for you!!" Growling, he shook her a bit. "Why won't you look at me, Alice!!"
"Kisshu."
He looked up suddenly, seeing Pai standing over him. God, damn it!
"Kisshu, knock it off. You're overreacting again."

Alice looked up at Kisshu, feeling as if she was dying inside. He wouldn't lie to her....she just screwed up...
"I just screwed up....he wouldn't lie...its all in my head....it's all in my head...." She gasped, trying to calm herself.
She was shaking, unsteady. She closed her eyes, breathed in deep, and tried to steady herself. She was upsetting him, making him mad. The food would burn...

Kisshu looked back at her, ashamed of himself. "U-Uh... Alice... Are you okay...?"
He reached a hand out to touch her, but he drew back, his insides flinching at the sound of that sweet, musical voice starting to have a nervous breakdown. "Alice... I-I'm so sorry... Please, please look at me..."

Alice did as he said, staring up into his eyes. "It's all in my head, isn't it?" She whispered. "You never lied to me......this isn't all a game... You can cut me and scream at me..." She whimpered. "Just tell me you love me...."

Kisshu looked at her with painstaking eyes. He sighed, putting his hands on the wall behind her, trapping her there. "You look at me..." He said, quietly. "Look me in the eye..."
She was trembling, shaking, and it was all his fault. He had to make it up before he hurt her again. Of course it wasn't a lie, but he seriously just screwed up.
"Alice... I love you... There is no lie in what I say... I don't know what came over me... And I'm sorry."

Alice saw the truth in his eyes. She had known. The stupid voice in her head needed to shut up. She ahd been right. She leaned against his chest, closing her eyes. "Say it again. Please." She begged him. "There's nothing to forgive. It's all in my head. But please, say it again."

Taruto pouted, covering his nose with his sleeve. "Uh... I guess it wasn't supposed to be black."
Kisshu rolled his eyes. "No, stupid, it's not supposed to be black. Alice, why don't we just go pick something up? You've already done enough in this kitchen for this morning. Let's just go get something, alright?"
Taruto frowned. "Is she going to do this at dinner too?"
"She's not just here for meals."

Kisshu smiled at her, relieved that she dropped the subject of his cut. Thank God...
"Okay, whose volunteering? Of course Alice has to head out because she's the human girl, but who else is heading out with her?"
He wouldn't let her go on her own. If neither Taruto nor Pai wanted to follow her, he would go. There were tons of creeps out on the street, other than himself. At least he wouldn't drag her into an alleyway and rape her.

Alice blinked at Kisshu, confused. "Bring what up? Did I do something wrong?" She cocked her head a bit to the right running over everything that had been said in her mind. Nothing seemed that bad; she hadn't lied or anything. She looked a him, trying to understand what would be stressing him out.
