Alice felt useless standing at Leo's side the way she was, but she wouldn't go against his words. He had spoken so strongly that she knew immediately he meant it.

Rae glared at him but felt a bit of fear rushing through her spine, "Of course I know I have limitations. Just give me my staff back. I don't feel like...well...you know." that last part was a lie.

"I don't think you truly understand, since you don't even have the common sense to know what your up against." Blood now in almost full control of Leo's body. "You are unarmed and much weaker than I am, and with your current mind set I doubt you would be able to harm me in hand to hand combat." Blood actually trying to help her, even though it didn't show. Leo was sitting back in the corner of his mind while Blood was lecturing her, somehow it didn't seem like Blood wanted to fight her either. Leo was glad about that.

Rae sighed, "I said please..." She glared at the new personality that was starting to emerge, "I know you're not human, I know that I need to find my brother, I know that to do that I need that staff. I've had people attack me on the street. I need that staff... I didn't CHOOSE this..."

Blood started to back off now, seeing she got the picture. Blood then started to give Leo back control of his body back as the other personality slipped back into the corner of his mind. Leo bringing his smile back being less stern. "Then let's help you." Leo smiled back to his old self.

Alice repressed as sigh off relief as she recognized the light tone that returned to her friend's voice. Thank goodness that was over.

Leo didn't really care that she objected to his offer, he was going to do it anyway. "Sorry, I made up my mind. And once I do that not even Blood can stop me." Leo smiled realizing she didn't know who Blood was.

Alice blinked in shock, then smirked. "Uh-huh. Ok." She couldn't help but inwardly laugh. Whether she meant to or not, she was taking those first terrifying steps towards friendship.

"Even without the teleportation I could still beat you." Leo smiled not taking her as serious now that Blood got under her skin. Because he knew once Blood got to them, they would never be able to beat him on the field of battle.
