Leo was so happy that the fun wasn't over yet, he didn't care that his ears had popped out in all the excitement. "You can't get away that easily, little mouse!" Leo exclaimed as he started up the chase again.

The young man didn't care what Leo said as he desperately tried to run. He was afraid for his life. A few paces ahead was a 2-foot hedge. He quickly leapt over the hedge and landed on the other side- a steep, grassy hill. The young man began tumbling down the hill.

"Idiot, your not suppose to get away like that!" Leo yelled as he jumped the hedge and proceeded running after the now tumbling young man.

After the young man was done summersaulting down the hill, he got up and moved dizzily around- until he smacked right into a metal pole. He hit the ground hard. "Urgh...that was terrible!" was all that could be heard from him.

Leo made it down the hill with little problems, as he made it to the base he just stared at he man on the ground. "Hey, come on get up." Leo commanded extending his hand to the man, "This chase isn't over yet." Leo now just smiling.

"Urgh...! Who are you and what do you want from me!" growled the young man as he attempted to return to his feet, but failed to do so.

"Nothing really, I was just bored. Now come on get up." Leo explained as he helped the young man up. "I guess we can call it a day, since you wouldn't be much sport if you couldn't move." Leo laughed as he finished helping the man up onto his feet.

"My name is Leo Blackhart, and the reason I chased you is because I sensed something off about you. The chasing you part was just for fun." Leo laughing at the end of his sentence after being so blunt in the beginning.

Leo then popped out his ears, not really minding if people saw them or not. "I am an Alien, that's how I could keep up with you and not be so worn out like you." Leo smiled as he looked down on the confused man.

"If I was working for anyone, chasing you would be work and that's boring. I only chased after you because I wanted to see what was under your coat. And the only reason I detected you is because something emanated off you that peaked my interest." Leo still smiling, not really looking like he was taking him seriously.

The young man paused for a second then resumed talking, "Alright, alright, I'll show you." The young man threw off his coat revealing a full set of hard leather armor and a rapier/saber-like sword at his left hip. There was a small carrying-pouch also at his waist. The leather sleeve part on his left arm was missing. The veins in his left arm were an almost black color.

"Dude, that's awesome. But I guess my powers could help me enough to match you even if you have that." Leo smiled as he noticed that he looked like a knight of some kind. "I guess you fight a lot don't you?" Leo asked hoping to get a good answer.

"I'm not some kind of swordsman who goes around fighting people. I am Luke Arrius, a fugative trying to get back home to America. I did nothing to get myself into this situation. For the past 6 months, I've been in Japan doing evils unconsciously and now I am a hundred percent sure someone wants my head on a spit. Not only an I trying to escape any local law enforcement, but I am also trying to escape Insanity and Evil which take control of me at random! Now if you excuse me, I have a life of survival to live!" Luke had lost it with Leo's lighthearted attitude and his own personal dillema. He began walking away from Leo.

"So your kinda like me, but yours at least leave you alone sometimes." Leo trying to smile but wasn't able to like before. "You would think that my life would be easy, I am sadly only a half-breed and am dishonored on my home world. Here isn't much different, your kind calls me a freak and a monster because I am different. But that is nothing compared to the Blood Lust that consumes me everyday... but if you learn to accept it you learn to cope some what," Leo his smile returning to him as he tried to change the subject. "So your trying to get to America huh. That will be hard considering your in Tokyo right now." Leo laughed forgetting what he said earlier.

"Well, I could help you but that would mean you would have to get ride of your outfit and find some normal clothes." Leo wondering if it was that symbol that made him detect Luke, "Hey Luke, what's that mark on your arm?" Leo know very curious.

Luke looked at his arm not knowing what Leo was talking about. "This mark...I have The Mark" was all he could say. He was clearly and utterly shocked. On his arm was printed in black ink, like a stamp a disturbing "XIII"

"Well whatever it is it's probably not important so don't worry about it." Leo said walking over to him. "Come on, you can't go out in public. You look like a cosplayer or something." Leo laughed as ironically his ears were still out.
