By the time Hitomi had arrived in Tokyo, the sun had long set beyond a long array of endless buildings and glass, leaving her to face the night sky alone in her front yard as her mother unpacked inside. She lied down on the front lawn, staring up at the blackness that could've have been called the night by any other person. To Hitomi, it was a sheet of sheer blackness. In this city, there were no stars, and the moon only glimmered with a mild hint of white. Out here was lonely... Bright... Hooray, for the days of migrains, Hitomi thought to herself as she rolled over on to her side. She yanked the left headphone of her ipod from her ear to try and listen for crickets. Instead, all she could hear was the honking of horns echoing from the city less than a mile away. A tear escaped her left eye, dripping down on to the grass like a raindrop; Forming itself into what looked like a dewdrop on the edge of one of the blades. First night in Tokyo. First night away from the peaceful forest life that the outskirts of Okinawa had once provided. First night in Hell...

In the dead of night, directly above Tokyo, a shadow loomed; Moving quickly. His eyes scanned the city intently, searching for something -- A soul of absolute purity. Quite simply, a pure soul to create something tragic. He would win this time around, he would defeat those five freaks and take his prize for himself. Just the thought of finally holding her in his arms made his chest heavy, for every time these fantasies came to mind, so did her lover's face. He clenched his teeth together as he continued to stare down below him at the filth that the humans had created for themselves. Nothing. No dice. He growled to himself, trying even harder. There were a few young children who caught his eye, but every time he made a creature from children, they were incredibly weak. This was out of the question, at this point. "God damn it all..." He exhaled, prepared to give up. Then he felt it, an aura so white that it almost seemed to draw him in. Looking around quickly, he began to lower his hover closer to the ground. When he finally focused in on the source of the aura, it turned out to be a young woman lying in her front yard. Was she asleep?

ooc/ It's alright, I do it, too.

Hitomi sat up, slowly, prepared to head back inside. She was about to stand up when her eye caught the figure of a young man. He was standing only a few feet away from her. Did she really space out that much and not see him walk up? "Can I help you?"

Kishu gave the girl a crooked smile, loosening up the fist he held fast, extending his long fingers outward in a stretching notion. He cracked his knuckles all at once, prepared to deal with the struggle that always came with these sort of girls. "No, no," he began, prepared to give some sort of cheesey 'give up and die,' line. Instead, he only stared at her, his gaze low and apathetic. "You're not crying, are you?"

Hitomi exhaled, sharply, raising her hand up to her cheek to wipe away the watery trail that the tear had left behind. "Woah... Where did that come from...?" She said to no one. She looked up at the young man. "Yeah, I guess I was..." When her eyes finally adjusted, she noticed that the boy was wearing practically nothing aside from one of the girliest shirts she'd ever seen and baggy shorts, both of which flattered his unbelievably thin waist. To top it all off, on the side of his head were two of the most realistic elf ears Hitomi had ever seen. She blinked a few times. "What are you cosplaying as?"

Kisshu raised an eyebrow at her. Cos…play? “What the hell are you talking about?” He asked, putting one hand on his hip. “And why the heck are you crying? I haven’t even done anything to you yet, you stupid girl.” Rolling his eyes, he prepared an infuser upon his palm.

Hitomi blinked a few times, not even eying the infuser. “I-I don’t—“ She began. Suddenly, she stopped herself. “That—what the heck is that?” The thing he held in his hand looked sort of like a glowing jelly fish with no tentacles. It had eyes and a small mouth, and it was mildly transparent, almost see-through. What… the heck?
