She set the carrier and toys down once coming back into the living room, "Looks who's awake."

Armen smiled "hey pretty little girl, someone slept well."
Elijah was wanting her to be set down to play

Seina set her into a toy that rolled so Eve could move around on her own.
"Watch out Elijah, baby might try to run you down in that." Leslie said.
"So what starts changing once she reaches two months old?" Seina asked.

"an enhanced rate of learning, it will take hours for her to learn to speak and walk along with a slightly quicker growth rate." Armen explained as Elijah crawled up onto the toy thing to say hello

"Okay so moving straight from two months to about ten months, human wise, in only a few hours."
"Well not including speaking, that goes on into two years old." Leslie added.

"yeah pretty much, will make things easier." armen said watching Elijah with the baby

"Suppose so." Seina replied while getting up, "I think I'm going to go fix some dinner, anyone want anything specific?"
"I'll stay here and watch the baby, make sure no one tries to poke her and end up bruising her or something." Leslie answered.

"were not that bad, we can watch a child." Armen said shaking his head while elijah was sniffing eve and making her giggle

"You misunderstand. You say for the first two months the babies are as weak as a normal human baby correct? Which means they can be hurt or bruise easily so you have to be even more careful with her than you would with like, Seina. Even humans need to be extremely careful when handling infants." Leslie responded.

"i knew what you meant but were capable of watching her also." he said watching the baby

"I know you can watch her. I just want to make sure that she will be okay because right now she is more like a human baby and even holding back all of your strength can still be too much for an infant if you hold or touch the baby the wrong way. Humans make that mistake too and accidentally hurt their baby and they are a lot weaker than you are." Leslie shot back with a glare that dared him to argue.
"Okay so no one gave any preferences on dinner so I will assume that everyone else plans to fend for themselves." Seina said to break the tension.

Armen glared back at her, both of them were stubborn, elijah changed back and picked up the baby "i want spaghetti...lets go help huh eve,"

"Okay spaghetti for Elijah, anyone else?" Seina asked.
"I'll help, before one of us decides to hit the other. Don't forget to hold her head Elijah." Leslie said while getting up.

"I am." he said walking into the kitchen
"were not stupid we've held a newborn before this is a little older but still." Armen added not moving from his spot

"Oh yeah? Seina when they brought the baby to you how exactly was she being carried?" Leslie questioned.
"Um...." Seina said, not wanting to get pulling into this even though the way in which Eve had been held at the time was far from appropriate.
"No need to answer, that is answer enough I think. I'll help with dinner for a bit and leave, have things to do anyways and someone to hunt down."

"hey what would you be thinking in your head when your brought your baby sister that if you dont take her shes dead?" Elijah asked then smiled down at Evelyn who put a hand on his cheek and giggled happily

"I would be thinking that my dad was an ass-hat for pulling such a threat, take the baby properly and then run to the person I knew who knew how to take care of her." Leslie replied flatly as they walked to the kitchen.
"Okay children I think that is enough now." Seina said while rubbing her temples.
"Sorry.' Leslie responded.

Elijah said nothing and just decided to go play with her in the living room, he looked upset.

"You should go talk to him." Seina said to Leslie, noticing. Leslie had noticed as well but she didn't know what to say, he had asked what she would have thought and she told him, she didn't understand why he would get upset. She shoved her hands into her hoodie pocket, "What am I suppose to say? I don't know how to actually talk to anyone, you know that."
"Yeah, I know." Seina responded.
"I think I'll just go." She responded, turning around and heading back down the hall. Seina sighed and continued on to the kitchen. Leslie stopped in the living room.
"Sorry...for whatever it was that I said that upset you..sorry." She said before going out the door swiftly and pulled her hood up over her head.

Armen raised an eyebrow watching her leave, Elijah didn't seem to budge as he watched the baby

Leslie went back to the orphanage and sat on the roof most of the night, deciding it would probably be best to leave sooner rather than later like she had planned.

Seina sat int he kitchen watching the spaghetti as it cooked.

Armen came in and leaned against the counter "what did i miss, why's Elijah moping like that?"

"...I'm no exactly sure, specifically why, but Elijah asked what Leslie would have been thinking if she was in your shoes when your dad handed off Eve. Leslie gave her opinion, being in her usual Leslie-blunt way and he got upset by it. I told Leslie to talk to him but that's not her area so she left I guess." She replied.

"he gets upset with certain tones, the way she said it maybe made him feel something I dont know." he shrugged "he's sensitive."
