"Heard a crash, looks like that person fell from a pretty good height." Seina answered as she walked to get closer and recognized who it was and ran to her friend, "What happened? Are you okay?"
Leslie's head whipped in Seina's direction. "I'm fine, go home." She said a little too harshly than she meant to. Seina was not offended by it, she knew how Leslie was.
Leslie looked up at the sky, searching but whatever she was looking for was no longer there. She growled in irritation while stomping her foot, "Damn it, the shit-head got away again."

"Oh yeah because me having enemies is such a big secret. Scrawny little bounty hunter with a bad attitude who has enemies so surprising." Leslie responded with a roll of her eyes.
"Ms. Danny mentioned that you said something about a family visit, she assumed you were talking about your father." Seina replied.
"Yeah? So? Got daddy issues too, no surprise a good chunk of people in the world do. He ditched me so I don't care to see him, nothing secretive about it." Leslie countered and swiftly changed the subject, "I take it you came this way to get mail and that notebook of yours right?"

"I don't like it but it's worked for a year now. Pays well apparently." Seina responded.

"Excuse you but you would know if I was going to try. I am not going to do that to Seina, clearly you can't say the same by threatening her best friend. In case I didn't make myself clear, I am keeping at least a dozen other hunters off your ass by being assigned to you." Leslie snapped harshly.
"Elijah has one what?" Seina asked.

"just making it clear ive been tricked before." Armen grumbled
"I have one of those bounty things but it's really old and no one does anything on it since i've changed and actually taken care of the town but some people are still stupid enough to try." Elijah answered looking over at Seina

"Oh yeah because lying is something I'm great at." Leslie said sarcastically and halfway turned to Elijah, refusing to directly look at him, still feeling bad about hurting his feelings but she was not going to change how she was. "You've got a bounty on your head, a serious one too, they just haven't found anyone who's wanting to try because of how much you help the town, but soon enough someone won't care about that. There are always heartless and greedy people in the world. Anyways I have things to do so here." She added and handed Seina a notebook from her bag.
"See you around I guess." Leslie said simply and turned to head back down the road.

Armen shrugged obviously he didn't care about much the way he was but Elijah just looked down silently not sure what he was supposed to do.

"She's never going to believe that you care, whether you actually do or not." Seina said to Elijah before running to catch up to Leslie to discuss a time and place they could meet to hang out.
