she walked with her father around the house "well you should learn dear, even if someone else teaches you."
she sat down on the porch with him "I know daddy...." she sighed and looked down at her hands
"I thought your mother you know." he said after a moment of silence "that was the moment she told me she loved me for the first time since the arrangement."
she looked up "you never told me that"
