One of her masters had made a wish that would aid him in doing so but it had been his last wish so she never knew if he had succeeded. She only knew what the couple looked like and their first names.

She couldn't help but thinking back on the wish that the man had made. He had to be human, one of his wishes had included the immortality of a vampire, but the last one she had found a little strange. He had designed a weapon and wished for it to be real and then she was moved.

She looked at it, not showing any reaction but on the inside her suspicions were confirmed. Her breath caught in her lungs but she continued to keep a straight face. She refused to face the fact that she already knew to be true. The master she had been thinking of had succeeded in his plan, a human had successfully killed, not only one, but two vampires, and it was because of the wishes she had unwillingly granted.
Why must fate be so cruel like this? Why of all the people in the world did I have to end up with two masters who were connected in such a horrible twist of fate? She thought to herself miserably. She closed the locket and handed it back to him.
