Twist in the past. He loves...her?

Mikomi had her eyes shut tightly and once she felt the touch of Miki's hands grabbing hers she gripped them tightly. She ended up letting what little air she had held in, out, choking in the water.

[Celeste]

Miki quickly pulled her up to the surface and onto the dock.

[kiannatahkary]

Mikomi turned on her side, coughing up water and gasping for air once the water was out. he took of her soaked jacket and droped it on the dock as she sat up and looked at Miki.

[Celeste]

Miki sat up as she did, for he had been leaned over her watching her with concerned eyes the entire time. He still watched her but the amount of concern had died down.

"Thank you..." She said in a quiet tone as she gathered up her long hair that had come undone from the braid it was in, it wasn't tied very well so it was easy for it to come off.

[Celeste]

He simply shrugged and got behind her. Being the girly man he was, he started to braid up her long hair.

"E-eh....you don't have to do that...." She said but didn't really do anything to stop him, she was blushing a bit.

[Celeste]

"I know." He answered as his tail swished.

[kiannatahkary]

"Thank you.." She said again.

[Celeste]

"Welcome." Once he finished he got next to her. "So why are you out here so late?"

[kiannatahkary]

"I had nothing else to do and I figured I'd let Kaikai sleep since I kept waking her up last night." She replied but didn't look at him as she spoke.

[Celeste]

"I see." He commented. He looked at the stars again.

[kiannatahkary]

"What are you doing out here?" She asked as she glanced at him but didn't turn her head.

[Celeste]

His ears twitched. "I saw something at home and got a little flustered so I came here." He shrugged, "I came here a lot when I lived with Niiro, Kona and her brother. It was my replacement of my 'sulking tree.'"

[kiannatahkary]

"What did you see?" She asked and finally looked at him.

[Celeste]

He sat silent for a few moments then finally spoke, "I use to have a little sister. She died awhile back because I couldn't get her any medicine and she died from her illness spreading too far." He paused, "I saw her ghost. But, older... Like the age she would be now."

[kiannatahkary]

Mikomi didn't know what to say to that so she wrapped both arms around him, pulling him into a hug.

[Celeste]

He blinked then hugged her, his hair dripping droplets of water onto her head.

[kiannatahkary]

She didn't mind the droplets of water she just hugged him tightly in a way of trying to comfort him instead of opening her mouth and risk saying somthing that might offend him.

[Celeste]

He put his hand on her back then looked up at the sky once more.

[kiannatahkary]

She looked up at the sky as he did.

[Celeste]

After a few moments he smiled and pointed up, naming off a constellation I was too lazy to figure out.

Stop being so lazy or I will smack you with a bloody fish.
Mikomi looked at where he was pointing and stared at it with a smile. "I remember seeing that when I was a kid my-" she cut off her words and her smile went away as she remembered who told her about the stars.

[Celeste]

I don't pay attention to stars and such, don't judge me XD
Miki looked at her. "You okay?"

[kiannatahkary]

Then look it up.
Mikomi didn't say anything as she grapped her jacket and stood up, walking off of the dock.
