Ariana walked through the woods at around eleven p.m. It was a full moon and it was shining brightly in the sky. It was the perfect night to test a new spell.

Mark had just got done feeding from a small unsuspecting human and was walking home. He decided to take a short cut through the woods.

She kept the hood up on her silver cloak to hide her face from others, and it usually kept people away since it scared them. She looked for a creek or something similar in case something caught on fire or blew up XD

As Mark walked through the forest he heard something behind him and jumped into a tree XD To get a better look.

She continued walking and kept a good grip on her staff that was currently the size of a pen. She's gotten into trouble in the woods so she wanted to always be prepared for something unsual.

She walked under several large trees and finally found a small river. She sat on a rock and sat in silence for a little bit, staring at the water.

Mark looked around and didn't see anyone but the air smelled of something that he wasn't use too. He followed the smell to a river and saw someone sitting next to the river.

She was actually doing something most magical people called scrying. She was making sure no one was around but it took a little bit.

"I wouldn't stick around if I were you." She said in a melody-like voice loud enough for him to hear. She didn't turn around or even move.

He stood there and watched her, "Okay then." He said smiling, "I'll watch from this tree." He jumped to the top of it.

"Okay then." She said in a 'I wouldn't stay there if I were you' type of tone and flipped her staff and it grew to it's normal size and landed in her hand again. The spell she was actually testing is supposed to get plants under the spell casters control within certain limits, like getting up and walking around was something they couldn't do, if the spell was right.

She tried the spell on the tree he was sitting in, irritated that he didn't just leave if he was so board. The branch dropped him to the ground.
"If your so board then just leave, I'm not hear to ease your boardom, I'm here for something serious." She said coldly.

"Okay, just making sure you knew I was here for soemthing serious and not anyones entertainment." She muttered. Then suddenly the tree branch caught on fire.
"Aw come on! Is my luck really that bad?" She said to no one specific and used a spell to douse the fire out with water from the stream.
