"NO, that's not it at all." Leo freaking out in standard anime fashion. "They all just started showing up at the cafe' and now there... there are five." Leo whispering at the end of his sentence. He went looking around through old photos until he found the one he was looking for. "Found it look at this." Leo showed the girls as he pulled out a picture of the cafe' forty years ago.

Auru turned when she noticed several others in the cafe. 'Weird. I thought this place was empty.' She wondered why they were here, and was utterly lost when they started talking about fate and being drawn here and all sorts of things, and even more so when an extremely loud girl burst in here. 'Is he showing something? Maybe I should move...Or leave.....' Auru moved out of the way a bit and stumbled some. She didn't know if she should speak up or not, and also knew her parents would be looking for her now. But, for some reason, she wanted to stay. (( I'm really confused her, so therefore Auru is too.  )) |

"Wait... you don't think we're them, do you? Well, I mean, you don't think we're... um, like, uh... copies.. imitations... what's the word... reincarnations, I guess? Oh, you know what I mean." Misuzu said a little impatiently. She walked over to Leo. "Oh, and I picked you up a little something while I was out." she handed him a picture of a family in a wooden picture frame. "A penpal of mine in America said that her friend knew your father and their families were very close before he... anyway, they thought you might like to have this."

Leo just set down the picture of the five girls and grabbed the frame Misuzu handed him. "Thanks... but this isn't as important now as what this means." Leo walked over to a table and set the frame down there. "I think it is a bit strange that five girls with the powers of animals all come to my cafe' on the day I arrive here to renovate it. And what is even more strange is that they all showed up around the same time almost as if they were drawn here by something." Leo looked around at the girls who still looked confused and not knowing what he was talking about. He then looked at Auru, and walked over to her slowly. "Excuse me, what is your name?" Leo asked now in a less serious kinder voice.

Auru was confused and a bit intimidated, but answered. "U-Um... M-Mamori Auru." She answered, not really knowing what else to say. She shifted uncomfortably, not knowing what the heck was going on or what anybody was talking about.

'I still can't believe my grandfather made me memorize that speech.' Leo thought as he knew they were thinking he was a weirdo now.

Auru blinked. "Fight.....aliens?" she asked hesitantly. She couldn't believe it. 'What on earth just happened?' She wondered. She didn't even understand what they were talking about, and now they told her she had t fight aliens?! She wondered if maybe these people were crazy. somewhere admist her pondering, she broke out into a cough. 'Wish I wasn't so weak; then this wouldn't happen all the time...' she thought to herself.

(His Dad is an Alien, but his grandfather is human. It is a very weird family, he lived on earth for a while until he disappeared when Leo was still young. x3)
"Well though I am not sure how all of you got your powers, I know it has something to do with an event that happened 40 years ago. I think when my grandfather used his machine to make the first Mews into Mews in the first place others in the area might have had there DNA effected in a way that laid dormant for all these years. Until you five girls inherited the genes and are now gaining your powers now because of this." Leo showing them the pendant again as he wondered how this had anything to do with the Mew Mews in the first place.

((OOC: To Misuzu: Ive looked at Misuzu's description, and I think she would work nicely as the lead Mew. Go for it.))
Ayame frowned and looked at her still scaled skin. "Ugh... I think my powers got a little too developed thanks to that pendant... ive been in this freaky form for awhile...how the hell do I turn back?" she asked slightly panicked. "This is all really strange... I dont get all of it... So we are supposed to save the w-world?! From aliens? That sounds like something off a Sci-Fi movie or something..." she murmurred.

"Well, I'm sorry that it is so strange to be an Alien." Leo now pouting they think that Aliens don't exist when one is standing right in front of them. "And if you wanted to change back all you had to do was this." Leo touched the pendant to Ayame's forehead and a light started to glow off her like at the stand. Her scales started to retract and her hair turned back to normal as well, she now looked like she did before she went to the festival.

I have been able to control mine for a while, but then again, I've known about my other self for longer than you guys have... and I'm rambling again. Leo, you take it from here." Misuzu said. "Fine..." Leo sighed as he toughed Misuzu's forehead as well with the pendant and changed her back to normal. "Honestly, make the cat do everything why don't you Misuzu." Leo whispered as he started to look around at the other girls. "Well, you guys it's time to show you." Leo sighed as he motioned them downstairs again.

When the party reached the basement. Leo went to a drawer near the computer screen and pulled out five more pendants. "These will be your own pendants, and will act as a sort of channel to use your powers allowing you to transform." Leo explained as he handed everyone each a pendant while keeping the original for himself.

Ayame took one and stared at it as it glimmered in her hands. "Wow... it's pretty..." She tied it around her neck and smiled. "I like it! I think I could maybe even get to like this whole Mew thing..." She chuckled to herself. She turned to the other girls and looked at them. "Well, I guess since none of us have really properly introduced ourselves to each other, why not start now? My name is Ayame Brooks!" She looked at the back of her pendant. "And according to the back of this necklace, I'm the Flame Mew Mew." She exclaimed as the words engraved themselves like magic into the necklace.

Now is not a time for my own problems... Chieko sighed and stared at the pendant held out to her without saying a word. Now or never... The pendant burnt inside her head, she couldn't help but reach out and take it from Leo's hand, Chieko smiled slightly and tied it around her neck. "Chieko Watari," She muttered after hearing Ayame say about introductions,"Mew Hi... apperently," She tried desperately to avoid saying the word Mew. OOC: It is the word Hi that translates as flame isn't it? Cause i get mixed up between Hi, Kasai, Honoo and Kaji

shitshitshitshitshiiit!!!!!!!!!!!! Shokora thought as Leo and the others passed her. smooth move! you probubly wern't suppose to be here at all!!!! Are they gonna yell at me now? finally, she sighed and followed them back up. There were other girls there to. It was all too weird.
"CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!?!" Shokora yelled, losing her temper. "Sorry..." She mumbled. "...but really. What is going on here?"

Auru was reluctant. 'Talking to strangers, taking some bauble from them--it doesn't sound good at all. I should get back to mommy and daddy......' Auru mentally decided, backing away toward the stairs quietly, hoping to go unnoticed.

"Hey, your leaving already?" Leo asked as he noticed Auru backing away trying to leave up the staircase. "You can't leave yet, not everyone has introduced themselves." Leo smiled as he moved over to Shokora. "And to answer your question," Leo knocked on the head lightly, "you should have been paying more attention when I was explaining it, Shokora." Leo now somewhat laughing at the situation as if it was the most fun he'd had in years.

Auru shifted as the boy told he she couldn't leave yet, then moved toward another girl. She bit her lip. Her parents would be furious if she stayed out so long, and she wouldn't be trusted to go alone for a week, at least. "I-" She coughed. "I have to go....Mommy and Daddy are worried...." she said quietly, and headed back up the stairs quickly, hoping he wouldn't insist on her staying.

Ayame bowed. "It's awesome to meet all of you. I feel like destiny brought me here to meet all of you. It's strange, because normally I dont believe in that stuff! haha!" She laughed as Leo scolded Shokora. Then she turned to notice Auru leaving. She felt something compell her to go with her. "Hey Leo, im going to help miss Auru find her parents, ill be back in a bit." She waved and headed out the door to find Auru again. "Hey Auru wait up!"
