Sydra floated down safely and looked around for Aya.

"You know... Now that I think about it. Maybe I should have looked for her while we were falling. My bad." Sydra stated.

"You are quite rude, Sydra. She is your teammate and you treat her like this. You should be ashamed." Kisani snapped.

"Well, I'm not." Sydra snapped as she saw a shadow overhead.

She looked and saw someone flying.

The shadow above Sydra was Leo flying down slowly while carrying Aya. He landed gently on the ground, looking at her and smiling weakly.

Sydra stared at Leo. She was starting to sober up and the events of the evening were starting to make more sense. Sydra bit her lip. She couldn't believe she had done that to Aya. She turned away and sighed.

"That is why you shouldn't drink." Kisani stated in her spider mode.

"I didn't think I could do that much damage." Sydra whispered.

"Now, you know." Kisani stated as she floated to Leo, "Excuse me, dear, are you going to leave Miss Aya with us?"

Leo looked at Aya, sadness in his eyes. "I suppose I have no choice... since taking her with me would only put her in more danger..." He said as he laid Aya down gently and then looked over to Kisani. "I'm trusting you to make sure that she stays safe... please help Tori with that, please...?"

Kisani took her human form and sighed.

"Sydra is my master. I can't guaruntee that I can keep her safe from the manipulation but I will try to keep it from happening too often. You have my word as a goddess." Kisani stated. "At least say goodbye."

"Alright..." Leo said as he released his spirit control on the necklace and placed it back around Aya's neck. "... I guess that's all I can ask for."

Aya opened her eyes slightly and smiled. She was still in a daze from before.

"Hey." Aya whispered.

[Gray]

"Hey..." He whispered back.

"Are you leaving now?" Aya whispered resting her hand on the side of his face.

She wore a weak smile and Kisani looked at Leo. She mouthed 'I'm sorry' and looked at Aya.

"It doesn't have to be right now, I think I can stay a few minutes longer..." He whispered back, seeing Kisani mouth her words.

Kisani looked on sadly as Aya tried to stand up.

"Milady..." Tori whispered.

"I'm okay." Aya replied in a hushed tone.

Aya wrapped her arms around Leo as she forced herself to stand. She fell against Leo and tried her best to keep conscious.

"Be careful. I don't want anything to happen to you." Aya whispered.

Leo moved his arms around Aya and held her up for support. "Don't worry, I will... I promise." He whispered back.

Sydra sighed.

"That's enough! We need to find your brother." Sydra snapped, trying to pull Aya from Leo.

"Wait-" Aya whispered.

"What is it Aya...?" Leo asked as he kept Aya close to him and away from Sydra.

Aya rested her hand on the side of Leo's face. She raised her hand to his hair and looked into his eyes.

"I don't want you to change but if you do, I want to remember you this way. The person that made me so happy." Aya whispered.

Sydra released Aya with widened eyes. This cat still held a place in her heart? Impossible but... Sydra couldn't do anything while Aya was conscious.

Leo moved his hand to her cheek, looking back into her eyes. "I'm glad I was able to make you happy, it means I've at least done that much for you..." He whispered back.

Aya reached up and pressed her lips against Leo's. Her hand remained on his cheek as the other rested on his shoulder. Sydra clenched her hand into a fist and turned away.

'Sickening hybrid. He doesn't deserve her. I will make sure he breaks.' Sydra thought as her expression stayed dark.

Leo kissed Aya back and held her up closer to him, closing his eyes as he held her. "Aya, promise you'll be careful too... alright?" He murmured as they kissed.

'That's it! Aya, sleep!' Sydra thought as she entered Aya's mind.

Aya was about to answer when she started to fall asleep against Leo. Sydra walked forward and created her large feather.

"Put her on there. Obviously, you can't even keep her conscious." Sydra snapped, holding her wrist.

"Not yet..." Leo said holding her away from Sydra and laying her in his lap as he sat down. "I'm going to spend as much time as I can with her before I have to leave... and you can't stop me."

Sydra glared at him and turned away.

"Look, my tipsy is wearing off and I realize what I did was fucked up. I don't think you belong with her." Sydra snapped.

"You don't know what your talking about!" Tori shouted.

"Like you have any say. You're her guardian ghost. You're supposed to agree. I don't like you and I will not let her love you." Sydra snapped.

"Well I could care less about whether you like me or not, all I care about is that if Aya's happy..." Leo said in a calm voice, trying not to yell. "If her loving me makes her happy, you as her friend should support her and not try to tear her away from me..."

"Who said anything about being friends? You said it yourself. I'm going to use her. Why should you care? She's going to die anyway." Sydra retorted, as her feather returned to her hair.

"Then why don't you want her to love me...?" He asked as Sydra was not making any sense.

"Because she won't sacrifice herself for anyone if she's in love with you..." Sydra replied.
