Leo stood where he was as she watched the battle unfold, feeling useless to everyone. 'Why can't I be of any use to these people....?' He though as he seemed pretty useless compared to everyone else.

Aya ran throught the halls and looked in each room. She couldn't find him anywhere.
"It will be too late. Master Leo and Master Ren were wounded when I came to get you, Milady." Tori shouted.
"Okay." Aya whispered, "Kaze. If you're in the house at all, the guys need our help. There at some hotel and I'm going over there."
Aya ran out of the door after getting her fans from her room. She let her hair move freely in the wind as she followed Tori to the place of battle.
'Hold on, guys.' Aya thought.

Eioku glared down at the man, her hands snapping up to his neck. "I'll kill you...!!" She exhaled, sharply. "I'll kill you...!!" Her fingertips tightened around his flesh, stealing the life from him.

Aya burst into the hotel room and she saw Eioku hovering over a man with a dangerous glint in her eyes. Aya was almost afraid to move and Tori noticed.
"Milady?" Tori whispered.
Aya moved toward Eioku in an attempt to pull her off this stranger.

Leo had been moved to the corner by Blood, his chest now bleeding more freely as he tried to hold it back. "Leo..." She whispered softly as he laid his head down and she moved her fingers through his hair, worried why he wouldn't heal his wounds while he had the chance.

Houka chuckled, his sneer widening. "You really want to kill me?" He said, his throat a little hoarse. "You have to mean it." He grabbed Eioku's throat with his free hand and clenched around it tightly. With his gun wielding hand, he shoved the spiritual medium at Eioku's stomach. "Do you really want their sacrafice to be for nothing!?" He spat. "You're safe if you just leave this place!"

Eioku smacked Aya's hand away, only to have Houka's free hand fall on her own throat. She took in the words that he spoke with a deep concentration, looking over to her fallen comrades. Her thoughts were flying everywhere. This man was only taunting her now, trying to infuriate her. Of course, she didn't want him to win, but what choice did she have?
"Aya," she said, quietly. "Get them out of here. I'm leaving."

Houka grabbed Aya's leg. "Woah there buddy." He said, now sighing. "You know Hao is gonna love me if I bring him a set. Although, I don't have Yoh and Anna... I have their sisters! Which to him should just be fantastic."

Eioku's eyes flickered with fury at these words. She looked back down to Houka, infuriated. "HEY! NO!" She shouted, her fingers tightly gripping the fabric of his shirt collar. "NO! I refuse to go along with this girl! Either you take me to Hao without HER, or I don't go at all!" Not much of a threat, but it was something. Somebody had to get Leo and Ren out safely...

Houka put his sunglasses down just slightly down to his nose. "Do you know how much praise I'd get for this?" He asked her. "Seriously, I'd be like the friggin' Pharoh of Egypt getting back! Now... Hold on to your hats." Spiritual fire started to go around and he rocked his neck backwards to put his sunglasses back into place. "Get ready to meet Hao girls!" There was a tiny explosion and the three disappeared. Within the next few seconds, they were in front of Hao. Eioku was still on top of him, and Houka was grabbing Aya's leg. "Hao-sama, it's NOT what it looks like."

Hao looked up from the crackling flames of the campfire, merely smiling at their position. "Honestly, Houka, I know you're not that kind of person," he said, taking a small twig into his hands he'd found in the grass. "What's this? You brought two of them?"

Aya looked at Eioku and she froze. Aya had no idea why Eioku was that furious at her. Aya wanted to say something to Eioku but the present situation wasn't the best time. She turned her attention to Hao. Aya pulled her leg from Houka's grip and remained looking at Hao.

Houka pushed Eioku off of him and shrugged. "Well, this one's Anna's sister so I thought that would be good", He said, scratching his chest, "and this one is related to the Asakura kid in someway."

Hao looked up at Aya, examining her features, seeming to take in everything. It was almost like looking into a genderbended mirror. He outstretched a hand, gesturing towards a spot in the grass. "Go on," he said, gently, "sit down. There's no need to be hostile."
Sticking the twig into the flames, he moved a few logs around, hoping that it would make the flames climb a bit higher.
"Excellent job, Houka. Take the rest of the night to rehabilitate."

Aya remained standing and looked at Hao. Her face portrayed disdain for him but she was in shock at how much they looked alike, minus obvious gender differences.
"What do you want with us?" Aya snapped, feigning strength.

Hao's expression faded into a friendly smile. "Now, now, there's no need to look like that. I mean you no harm whatsoever. All I want is for you to sit down and listen to me." He pulled the twig away from the flames, admiring its now charred end. Placing his fingertips on the blackened wood, he blew away the bits of soot dirtying it.
Eioku was, at this point, sitting on her knees, her hands down in the grass. She couldn't believe it. No matter what she tried, she couldn't escape this girl. Aya was always there. Stealing everything. Everyone.

Houka walked away. "Rehabilitate, drink soda, same thing really." He pushed his glasses over his head and took out a small flask. Taking a large swig, he collapsed on the ground grinning. "God I love Pepsi."

Aya looked at Eioku who refused to make eye contact and her eyes softened. Aya sat down and her gaze remained on the ground. She made sure to give Eioku her distance and arched her knees.

Hao grinned over at Houka. "You deserve it. Just make sure that you don't make yourself sick. We can't have that."
Taking his gaze over to Aya, he began his explanation. "Aya, what do you think of this world?" He asked her, resting his chin on his hand as if admiring her. "For that matter, what are your ideals on humanity?"

"I don't think about think about things like that. I'm just trying to get by day by day. Like everyone else. Why should my ideals matter?" Aya stated.
She was afraid. Not of Hao, Eioku, or Houka. She was afraid of something else.

Hao sighed, leaning back on his arms. "Take a look at the world for a moment," he said, staring up at the sky. "Out here in this desolate clearing, you can breathe clearly. You can see the night sky and all of its glory. But think about it... How rare are these moments becoming in our world? Human evolution has destroyed our planet. Our home. I'm sick of it." He looked back to Aya, the smile rebirthing itself. "Soon, everything will end unless we do something about it."
Eioku's eyes darted up to him, irritated with the fact that he hadn't even acknowledge her pressence.

"All things are supposed to come to an end! Why do you even care what I think? My friends are dying and your here making small talk! Hurry up and cut to the chase!" Aya shouted, hiding her phobia. "I already told you no when Eioku needed to go to the hospital."
Aya clenched her trembling hands to her chest in order to hide them behind her arched knees.

Hao's eyes suddenly sank, but the expression remained as cheerful as ever. "You won't join me in my plight, then," he said, stretching his hands out above his head. "Mm... That's too bad, you know. Well, that just means that you're going to have to die one way or another. Would you like it to be here or in the future?"
Eioku looked up, suddenly.

Aya's eyes widened and she pulled to stand up. She looked at Hao's grin and narrowed her eyes.
"I'm not afraid of you. If you want to kill me, kill me after I get my friends to the hospital." Aya snapped.
Aya clenched her hands into a fist as they continued to quiver. She kep looking around nervously but when her eyes returned to Hao they were stern and dark.
