Aya led him away and she realized how close she was to Leo. She smiled and looked up at him. He looked different in the moonlight. Aya then noticed Leo's ears popping out. Apparently, his weak stated was too much for him to maintain his human appearance. Aya smiled and reached up. She began to rub his ears and he raised an eyebrow.

Leo looked at her wondering why she was playing with his ears, but as he did he purred just like a kitten. "What are you doing Aya...?" Leo asked purring, smiling happily even though he was weak.

"See ya." Yoh said as him and Kaze walked into the inn. Kaze immediately went upstairs, laying down on the floor. Yoh shrugged. Scanning the halls he thought, 'Where's Anna? She's usually busted me for stuff like this before I even get in.'

"I told you already. I have a weakness for cats and you having these cute ears, makes me like you even more." Aya smiled.

Aya then recalled what she just said and she blushed. She continued to play with his ears as he purred so adorably. Aya then hugged Leo.

"You're so cute!" Aya squealed.

Leo smiled and fell to the ground, unable to keep the both of them up as Aya laid on top him as they hugged. "You're really cute, you know that Aya...?"

Aya blushed and rested her hands on his chest. Aya came to look him in the eye.

"Thanks, you're not too bad looking yourself." Aya smiled.

She continued to play with his ears when she kissed his cheek. She liked hearing Leo purr as she rubbed his ears. Her heart beat quickened and she smiled.

Eioku bit her lip, staring up at his eyes. "What do you mean?" She asked him. "Weren't you just yelling at me about trying to talk to you earlier?" Her gaze faded into a glare as she remembered his cold words.

Leo looked at Aya, feeling her heart beating faster, that making his beat just as fast. He smiled back and tried to pretend that he didn't feel anything, but he did...

Aya smiled and pulled off Leo. She stood up and reached her hand down.

"Come on. We still have to get you something to eat." Aya smiled. "Cat boy."

Leo raised an eyebrow at this new name but Aya winked playfully waiting on him to give her his hand.

"Alright then." Leo said smiling as he took her hand with his so that she could help him up.

Aya became his support again and helped him walk into the forest. She watched him gather things around and she made sure to pay attention to all of the things he picked. She didn't want him to go hungry. She watched him sit down and she looked at the berries he had picked.

"You eat only fruit?" Aya asked.

Ren glanced up at the sound of the door opening, he pulled himself away from Eioku and glanced out into the living room. "Asakura," he said, sharply.

"Well mostly, since I can only get meat when it's available to me." Leo said as he began to eat the berries slowly.

"So why not eat dinner? Or are you really like a cat?" Aya snickered as Leo ate.

Leo's ears popped up and Aya could have sworn she saw a tail. She giggled and sat beside him. She looked into the sky and smiled.

"The stars sure are beautiful. It's a shame no one can see their true beauty." Aya whispered, staring at the moon.

Leo looked up with her and stopped eating for a moment as he sat closer to her. "They are nice, and sleeping under them for your whole life really makes you see who beautiful each star is...." He said softly as he placed the back of his hand on her cheek.

Aya blushed and looked at the ground. She raised her hand to grip his and she looked saddened.

"Would you have really have joined Hao?" Aya asked.

Aya then noticed the the light scar on her skin where she made Leo's blade rest. Aya felt bad about making him choose her death over his release.

"I would have..." Leo whispered as he slowly moved his hand from her face and back to grab a berry.

Yoh turned his head at the noise of his surname. "Hey Ren." He said. "What's up?"

Aya sighed and looked at the sky again. She seemed hurt but she was serious. She would have rather died than see him turn into a killer. Aya closed her eyes and took in the wind that picked up her hair. Aya reached for the ribbon still keeping her hair tied. She removed it and Leo's eyes widened. Aya looked like Hao.

Ren sighed, drawing back a bit. "I was going to... Try and settle things between us but... Certain events throughout this godforsaken day have rather... Tired me out." He looked away, still trying to hold his pride.
"Would you mind if I slept in a vacant room, tonight?"

"Aya...." Leo said in shock as he looked at her in disbelief. "You look just like.... Hao." He whispered.

Yoh shrugged. "Sure." He said, walking down the hallway and up the stairs. "Step around Kaze, he's been kinda down lately and I think a foot to the face might depress him."

Aya looked at him curiously. Aya shook her head and wore a calm smile.

"That's impossible. I never met him before today. You're just tired." Aya replied but Leo continued to look at her.

Aya took the ribbon and tied it around her wrist to make sure she wouldn't lose it.

"Yeah that must be it..." Leo said smiling back as he laid his head on her lap and closed his eyes, trying to make his worries fade away.

Aya smiled and leaned against a nearby tree. Alot had happened within her first night but having Leo with her seemed alright. She could protect him since she still had furyoku but her Anemia would be the problem. Problems?

'Do I really look like Hao?' Aya thought, 'No, if that were the case, Hao would also look like Yoh.'

Aya tried to dismiss these thoughts.
