Leo smiled and took her hand, shaking it as that was probably what she wanted him to do with it. "Good, now that I know your name Ebony I won't have to think of you as just a human." He said happily.

Ebony took her hand back and stuck her nose high in the air. "Leo, would you please put out that fire?" She said, pointing to the firepit. "Make it quick, too. I'm going to have to pretend your a cosplayer in town, but we're going to have to find SOMETHING to cover up those ears of yours for the time being..."

Leo smiled and walked over to the fire, using his foot to kick the dirt into it so to die down the flames. "Well that's not the only thing we'll need to cover up..." He said smiling as he walked back over to Ebony with his tail swaying back and forth.

Leo smiled and teleported over to Ebony's side, looking her her kindly. "So does this form please you...?" He asked as he looked at her reddening cheeks.

Ebony turned away, her face heating up at a pretty substantial level.
"Ugh! You may be some sort of inhuman hybrid cat type thing, but you're still just a BOY!" She shouted, stomping off into the woods. "UGH!!"

Leo smiled and followed after teleporting to her other side and seeing her blushing face. "That's not what I asked, but telling by the redness on your face... I'd say that you like my form." He said warmly at her.

Ebony rolled her eyes, reaching out a hand and shoving past him. She took a firm grip on his wrist, trying to make sure that he didn't teleport away again. "Come on, just hurry up," she said, quickly. Her eyes were fixated on the forest floor, staring down at the bugs and the moss, trying to get her mind off of it, trying to make her cheeks cool down.
Stupid male whatever-the-fuck-you-are.

Ebony blinked. "What?" She asked, loudly, looking back at him from over her shoulder. Raising an eyebrow at him, she turned back, keeping her eyes straight ahead. "Whatever you say, cat-boy." This creature, whatever he was, was proving to be extremely... odd.

Ebony sighed as the sounds from the city poured into her ears. They were getting closer.
"We're going to my home." She said. "But first, I need to find you a hat or something so that my mother and father won't freak out."

Ebony thrust her hand away from him, glaring up into his face. "Then take on a human form so that I don't have to waste any of my money!" She snapped, swinging her bag further up her shoulder. "Geez..." She muttered, turning her back to him.

Ebony walked on, soon grabbing him by the cuff of his sleeve to guide him through the city streets. Eventually, they came to a three-story apartment building. She jammed a metallic key into the slot of a doorknob and looked up to Leo. "Alright, look... My mom is a bible pusher, so just nod and agree with everything she says and we shouldn't have any issues."

Ebony pushed the door opened and entered the apartment, kicking off her shoes and throwing her jacket on to the rack. She stepped on to the hardwood floor beyond the entryway and looked back at Leo. "Take off the shoes. It's Japanese tradition." She said, harshly. "And I'll kill you if you scuff up this floor."

Ebony stuck her head in through an open doorway, shouting to her mother, "Mom, I'm home. Dad running late today?"
"Afraid so."
"Alright, whatever. I brought a friend over. We'll be up in my room studying, okay?"
"Sure."
Ebony turned away, rolling her eyes. She hated it when her mother gave her that tone. She scoffed and glared over at Leo, harshly. "Let's go."

Ebony waved a hand in her direction, beckoning him to follow. She turned slowly, moving down a dark hallway. Without looking back to see if he was following, she opened up the third door on the left and disappeared into its crevices. With stiff fingers, she flipped on the switch for her light and moved across the room to her desk, pulling out one of the drawers.
"Get in here," she called out.

Leo looked at Ebony for a moment, a bit hesitant about stepping into her room. This had been the first time in a few years that he'd even been in a house with others inside it's walls. He took a slow step forward before completely moving himself inside of Ebony's room.
