"I was going to kill myself so that that soul-bound beast would be neutralized, but I just recalled that the leader of Aemithos told me that if I died, it would live on and a great catastrophe would happen....I would actualy like to die because my life has been nothing but pain for the past year, but I can't do so yet..." explained Luke turning to Cami.

Akane didn't know whether to just walk by these people or just wait 'till they all went away. Then, the spot were her missing seventh rib bone was started to hurt again. Not again, she thought as she hugged herself.

"I've seen and experienced hell in the past year in my life. I just watched that band of killers Aemithos slaughter an old man and a younger girl. And just a moment ago, I find I'm living fuel for a machine of destruction..." said Luke obviously very emotionally scarred.

Luke then looked straight into Mizuki's eyes. His brown narrow eyes seemed to have lost a bit of their wood-tint to them over time. Silently, he started to slip from her grasp.
