Leo and Emil were running down the streets as well, looking around as they hide from soldiers. "This isn't good Emil, we have to find your parents and get you safe..." Leo said as he looked around the corner.
"What about you Leo...?" Emil asked in a weak voice.
Leo smiled as he looked back at Emil. "Don't worry about me, let's just get you home..." He said softly before hearing someone coming.

Marta turned the corner and grabbed her knees "this isn't good Ive been running to much" she panted out before looking around

Leo looked around the corner to see a girl down the street, sitting down and holding her knees as she seemed to be holding something.

Marta got up "O Noo!" she yelled out while running off into an alley

"Leo, soldiers. We should..." Emil was trying to say as he backed away.
"We can't Emil, we have to help her..." Leo said as he ran in the direction where Marta went down the alley.
Emil was scared, but just went after Leo because he couldn't go any further without Leo.

Marta ran down the alley untill she came to an end "Its a dead end ...." she said while turning around to see the gaurds

Leo followed closer behind as he saw she was trapped. 'I gotta hurry!' He thought as he made sure he wasn't seen.
Emil hide in the shadows as he made sure more that he wasn't seen than anything else.

"NO! NEVER!" marta yelled "SOME BODY HELP ME!!"

Leo was on the roof top, running towards where Marta was as he jumped down in front of her. "Back off..." He said as he glared at the guards.
Emil was there shocked as he saw his friend doing something that could get him killed.

Marta watches the boy "who is this guy?" she wondered "why is he helping me? does he know about the core?" she thought "Okay" she finally said

Leo stood there ready as he was prepared to defend this girl with his life. His scythe was ready at his side, tightly gripped in his hands.
Emil was scared as he watched Leo, wondering why he was doing so much for this girl he'd never met before until now.

Marta looked around it was true "what do I do?" she whispered "I dont want him to get hurt ...."
