She laid her head gently on his shoulder. The human contact was nice. The only physical contact she was used to was aggressive. "What am I supposed to do, as your friend?"

"We be nice to each other, and be there for one another when we're sad." He said happily, then hugging her a little more. "So if your ever sad or feel alone, I'll be there for you..." He said in a soft voice as he felt her head on his shoulder.

She thought about that. What an odd concept it was, in and of itself. He wasn't going to make demands of her? He wasn't going to ask her to do something outrageously ridiculous? She couldn't comprehend that. All her life people had tried to bargain for her affection. This boy, however, merely asked her to "be there for him"? What an utterly odd concept. Somewhere, up in the heavens Kanzeoun was surely mocking her. "...o....k...." She murmured. "I can....be here for you...."

Whisper stared at their hands as they walked. She had seen people link their fingers with one another, but usually it took place between a mother and child or lovers. It was a sign of deep affection.. This confused her. As far as she knew, there was a fine line between friend and lover. "Where are we going?"

She mimicked the motion as he smiled to her. She didn't really smile all that much. No one had ever really been nice to her. She was odd, strange, and she didn't fit in. "Oh...I see...."

The two came into view of the cafe' as Ichigo and Ryou were waiting outside for him to return. "Leo, there you are. Where were you?" Ichigo as she looked at the new girl Leo had with him. "Oh I see, you were with her..." She joked as she bumped her elbow lightly into his stomach with a smile on her face.

Whisper cocked her head, her eyebrow raising in confusing. This girl was his friend, so why was she elbowing him in the stomach. Did she mean to harm him? Why would friends do that? She scratched her head. "So odd..."

Leo just smiled as he rubbed her head and laughed. "It's not like that..." He said with an embarrassed look on his face. "Sure it isn't..." She said teasing as she didn't mind her head being rubbed a little.

"Yeah, her name is Ichigo." He said smiling as he moved her over to Whisper. "Ichigo, this is Whisper, she's my friend..." Leo said happily as Ichigo looked at the girl. "It's nice to meet you Whisper..." She said happy, knowing Leo had a good sense of who his friends were.

"You're uh," She searched for the right words. "You're not normal, are you?" He was so odd, as was she. None of the people at school ever acted like this; least of all to her. Truly, they avoided her quite like the plague.
