"oh okay I trust you" she was shocked that she actually said she trusted someone she hasent said that in a very long time, everyone she has met have never been anything like him, but she wasn't going to complain. she liked that he was so protective over people and she was comfortable around him.

Shun held her hand, making sure no one tried to take her away. She was different from anyone he'd ever met and he wanted their friendship to last. He paid the bus fare and found an empty seat. "Don't be nervous, Amber," he whispered as they neared the stop where they had to get off.
They got off the bus and walked a few blocks to his house. He took his house key from his pocket and opened the door. "Mom, I'm home."
"I've been waiting, Shunsuke. What took you so--oh" That last part was because she had just walked into the room and saw Amber. "Who is this?"

"um..hello I’m amber" her voice was a bit shaky afraid of what she might say, there was a strange silence in the air until she decided to talk “you have a nice place here.” okay they all had to admit this was a bit awkward for them all. His mom was probably thinking something weird, I was to nervous to think and shun well who knows what he was thinking about he just stood there. She giggled because of the look his mother gave him it was one of those ‘okay what is going on’ looks.

"Hey, mom, Amber doesn't have a place to stay. Can she stay here?" Shun asked the question outright, knowing her mother was curious. His mother was shocked for a moment but smiled.
"Of course she can, Shun." The words were casual but her eyes were lit up. "I'll show you to the guest room, Amber."

“oh okay” she stopped to look back at Shun before turning back she smiled and followed his mother into the guest room, it was really nice and she almost started to cry they barely knew who she was but cared enough to let her stay “thank you so much if there is anything you need I will help you out this means a lot.” his mother smiled and told her a thank you before leaving the room. She giggled and fell back onto the bed “for once I feel safe.”

"Shun, what have you been doing in your free time?" His mother asked as soon as she came out. Shunsuke rolled his eyes and smiled.
"I met her today, Mom." Then Shun told her what happened. They never kept anything from each other.
"I'm glad you brought her here then, her mom has no buisness doing that." Anger filled her eyes.
"Thought you might feel that way." Shunsuke said. He then walked to the guest room and knocked on the door, "Amber, how you holding up?"

She decided to closed her eyes for a while but she fell asleep, being the light sleeper she was she heard someone come into the room “WAAAAHHH!!!” who ever it was they touched her and her instinct was to jump on them but it was shun “oh shun what are you doing on the floor?” she asked giggling at how surprised he looked.

"Wow, that was...er...ouch?" Shun said, laughing, "I just came to see how you were doing." He said, picking himself up. "Sorry I woke you." He was already glad that he'd invited her to stay. Living with her was going to be very interesting and life would be a whole lot less boring.

“well I really didn’t want to fall asleep so no need to be sorry.” she said laughing “I’m really sorry if I get confusing when I talk I just say things that don’t make sense sometimes.” she sighed and sat up “that’s what hurt me the most at home.” but in seconds her smile was back “hey we should do something!” but that was the hard part her mind was racing way to much from this whole experience what is there to do anyway.

Shun laughed and sat on her bed, "You do realize that its night right now. It actually is time for people to sleep. And don't worry about confusing me, its a guy's nature to be confused." Shun smiled at her and stood. That was when a vision captured him, nothing was seen or heard. He was at the house when the door opened. For some reason, he was expecting his mother but that was not who stepped through the door it was..... He came back to earth, gasping for the breath that always seemed to leave him when he had a vision.

"shun! are you okay!" she pushed him onto the bed looking down at him "whats wrong?" scared to death she held onto him "are you okay?" she asked looking at him with a scared and confused look on her face "what happend?" she stopped herself and let him sit up "sorry about all the questions I dont react well to things sometimes." she said looking away from him.

Shun forced a smile, "I'm fine. Just phazed out for a second." He looked at Amber and put a hand on her shoulder. "And it's okay, asking questions about something just means you care."
Should I tell her? Shun wondered, then decided to ask his mom about it when Amber finally went to sleep. "Don't worry about it, kay? And get some sleep."

Amber woke up the next morning with her morning energy burst "SHUN!!!" she ran into his room making him jump up in surprise as she hugged him "HOW ARE YOU!!" she felt all that morning energy leaveing her body like it always did and she colasped onto the floor "ahh headache!" she giggleed "ah dont laugh head hurt!"

Shun put his hand over his mouth, trying not to laugh and cry at the same time. "Are you okay, Amber?" He asked, choking down laughs. Without another word, he got down and grabbed her hand and pulled her up. Then he realized he was only in his boxers and blushed.
"My mom probably has breakfast ready, you should go downstairs and...er...start to eat." The smell of waffles came from the kitchen.

"okay" she ran down the steps a little red "note to self never do that again" she smiled as his mom set waffles down in front of her "yummy thanks" she ate them as fast as she could but then stoped remembering she wasnt there anymore eating has no time limit now "no time limit never again" she smiled as she finished the bit she had left.

Shun pulled on his pants and a shirt and headed to the kitchen. He sat down and his mom piled the waffles on his plate. "Thanks, Mom." She sat down with them.
"So, Amber, I know this is probably an uncomforable subject, but what happened?" His mom asked after a few moments of silence. Shun gave her a dirty look before eating a huge mouthfull of waffles.

"well I was adopted once before and I ran away from them then started living with my friend and everyone I stay with gets mad at me I a run off but this time I didnt run. they told me to." she sighed and looked away "that is why I took a class on survival because I knew I would have to face the elements some day." her smile back again as she jumped up "but Shun helped so ALL BETTER!" she giggled and kissed him on the cheek "and now he is my best friend!" was all she said before she skipped into the living room.

Shun blushed and looked at his mom, who raised an eyebrow. "That's some past she has there." She said quietly. "I'm going to take her shopping, by the way. You can come along if you wish, Shun. I'm sure she'd love that." His mom stood, going to ask her if she wanted to go shopping. "I'm proud of you, Shun." She said just as she left the room.

Amber sat on the couch humming to herself until they both came in and she heard the word shoping and had her coat on seconds later but sat back down "I dont know." she looked up to see they seemed confused "I'm joking" she giggled and stood back up "where are we going to go?"

"Where else, the mall." Shun's mom said, smiling. Shun groaned, knowing he was going to be the third wheel. Girls and shopping equaled distaster.

Shun laughed and sat next to her, "A girl not knowing what a mall is? I think I've found my match, mom." He joked, though he tentively moved his hand close to hers. What is this emotion? he wondered, smiling at Amber.
"A mall, my dear Amber," Shun's mom started, "is heaven on earth."
