(Sorry about the wait you two, I've got a account and I'll get to roleplayin' with the two of you.)
The two girls herded him into a room, already asking questions.
"I'm-I'm Julius." He said, trying to calm himself.
"And I understand somebody else has the... some things are the same about us." Julius said, altering his words before he let something slip.
Julius let the cloak come down off his head, revealing a rather handsome face. The girl's eyes would instantly look to the pink scar trailing down his cheek, starting at his left eyebrow, and stopping just before his chin. One green eye and a pink one stared out at the world, short black hair cropping his eyes, and a single human ear on his right side, a rat's ear on the left.
"Now that I've told you my name, can you tell me yours?" He asked politely.

Julius blinked, getting confused. She was grossed out at all, or screaming? Odd little place.
"Shai? Nice to meet you." He said shakily. Encounters like this were unusual for him. Her comment on his eyes almost made him stare at her with concern.
What is wrong with this girl?
"Thanks... One's an albino rat eye... a purposeful accident." Julius sneered at the wall as he talked, getting angry at the remembrance of the 'accident'.

Julius looked back and forth, from one to the other.
"Eh, it's a long story." He said defensively. "And not one such young girls should here either, so till then, we'll leave it at a purposeful accident on behalf of the 'great' people of where I come from. Corrupt I say, living in their imaginative 'paradise'..." Julius broke off from his mini rant and took in a deep breath.
"Pardon me, I was going to say nice to meet you." Julius was infinitely more calm as he said this. He flashed a smile at the two, his left canine replaced with the hooked canine of a rat's, just not the same size. "Well, can I ask where I am?" He said, stumbling backwards a bit. "Ugh, no fast movements Julius, just stand still... Blegh..."

shai's chinchilla ears poped up and twitched. " to many big words hurt brian" she said not knowing her ears were out. " and im not a little girl im 16 thank you very much!" shai said with a glar.

"Sixteen is still too young." He said darkly. "And you have lovely ears." Julius chuckling a little as he spoke. "and my story would be unbelievable to the two of you." He muttered, turning away from them to admire the room.
Julius felt cornered up here, and falling down a story or two out the window was his only escape if trouble came. "Well, I can tell you my story, if you'll let me out." Julius rounded on them, smiling behind his collar.

Julius grinned at the girl and took in a deep breath. He exhaled and searched around for where to start.
"Well... you see, in order for you to understand my story, you need to know something first. This isn't the only universe like this, there are thousands of universes, all correlated into one massive system with back doors to each of them, like an apartment complex. And where I come from, it's the equivalent of being down the hallway."
Julius looked from one to the other and waited for one or the other to call him crazy.
"It's called he multiverse."

Julius smiled again, showing the rat's canine again. "I'm getting to that part miss." He hissed at Christy.
"Well, in the world I was from, planet earth had been overrun my mutated Mother Nature, so the humans built a city with high walls, built in levels, and called it a utopia. The poorer folk lived on the bottom, and the richer folk got the upper levels. Each level up got richer and more decorative, each level down.. well, you get the point. I lived on the second to last floor, the only floor people were even allowed to live at, the toxins down there, the animals coming through the holes, and the people there made the place a hell on earth." Julius paused as he controlled his anger.
"And worst off, I was one of the very few down there that got little mutations, because the mutations weren't allowed upstairs into the world, were they could spread disease and hurt people. So I was the next best thing next to food. During rough times I had to go selling myself to women, ...men... anything I could do to keep enough food to survive. and then I found a portal in the Junkyards below, and popped out here, in this universe. that makes a long story short. the rat ear, eye, and tooth are the result of a 'perfect world' which was only perfect if you ignored the bad things..." Julius trailed off, clenching and un-clenching his hands.

" hey mr. just cuz we asked nicely dosnt mean you have to hiss at her got it?" shai said hereyes glared red. " and thats just awfull....you sold your self thats not healthy at all!" shai said geting angry with his story. her chinchilla ears twitched allit but she calmed down. " hey look dont worry about that stuff its in the past for a reason you canstart a over here just like i am" shai said her smile returning.

Julius frowned and took in a breath. "Yeah, I know it's not healthy, but it was that or die of starvation, speaking of which, I'm hungry..." He said, flicking open his cloak and selecting a pouch. inside was a mangled rat's corpse. He flicked a knife from the back of his belt and pressed the blade between it's shoulder blades. He paused and looked up at the other two. er... you wouldn't happen to want some?"

"Er... I don't have any bread with me..." he said bashfully. "and what do you mean 'real food'? This stuff is the best!" He said, slicing the back of the rat and cutting away at the skin.
"and no, this is only half cannibalism." He said with a grin.
In a moment he had skinned away a portion of the rat's skin. He took a chomp out of the slightly bloody meat and held some out for Shai.
"Here, have a try." He offered it again, blood smeared across his face.

shai gave a sigh she couldnt help but laugh alittle. " you have some blood on your face" she said pointing at it. " and i mean like pottie, or pocky...or lemon fryed rice" shai said. " ill try your food if you try mine" she smiled.

Julius thought it over a second and then gave a nod. "As long as it isn't posioned." Julius smiled and wiped away some of the blood. "You lead the way to the food, and I'll follow."

Julius followed along behind her, eating at the rat as they made their way to the kitchen. He popped in and dipped his finger into a pot, smelling the contents. "Blah, smells like the stuff in barrels at the junkyard." He commented, looking back to Shai. "So, what IS edible?"

shai smiled. " food thats what" she couldnt help but tease. she got out a few veggys, an egg, and a frying pan. " ok the rice is allready being made so that helps" she said as she washed her hands. as she was cooking she humed alittle tune * lilum music box version*

Julius lurked around the kitchen, looking into cabinets, peering into barrels, messing with spoons and spatulas. All the while he nibbled on the rat, poking his head over her shoulder to see what see was doing.
"What are you doing?" He asked, taking a bite out of the raw rat.
