Alice wandered until she found the kitchen. Kisshu was staring at a box. As she got closer she noticed that it was pancake mix. She snuck up behind him and tickled his sides, hoping to catch him off guard. It would be nice to be the one scaring someone else instead of being scared. "GOOD MORNING!"

"AHH!!!" Kisshu gasped out, turning around. His eyes were extremely wide, his breaths drawn quick and short. "ALICE--!!" He saw the grin on her face and frowned. "That wasn't funny."

"Twas very funny." Alice argued. "But I'll say I'm sorry if it makes you feel any better." She leaned against the counter. "So, you're making pancakes...why do you look lost?"

"So you're making pancakes... Why do you look lost?" Kisshu's face went red. "I, uh, I don't usually cook around here... Usually Taruto just buys instant stuff or gets candy from that monkey girl, but I mean..." He looked away. "I can do it! Just let me read the instructions!"

Alice smiled. "I have something important to tell you first." She insisted. She took his face into her hands and kissed him. "I love you, and I've decided to switch sides. Cliche', I know, but I always felt like the odd one out with the mews. I just fit in so well here. I fit so well with you...."

Kisshu looked at her from over his shoulder, starstruck. His eyes were wide, glistening in the light above his head. Had he just heard what he thought he'd heard? She was switching sides because... She loved him? "A-Are you insane?!" He spit out, turning around to face her. "Y-You're a defender of these people!"

Alice blinked at him, shocked by his outburst. Tears began to sting at her eyes and she tried to force them back. "But...I thought you'd be happy....you win..." She whispered. "Y'know. White flag; I surrender..."

Kisshu looked at her, his jaw dropped. He couldn't believe it! "O-Of course I'm happy! I would love for you to side with me! B-But--" He couldn't even finish his sentence. Shaking his head, he put his hands on her slim shoulders. His heart and head seemed to be pounding in absolute unison. "Alice... Is this really what you want? An Alice without her morals isn't the Alice that I love."

"Alice... Is this really what you want? An Alice without her morals isn't the Alice that I love." Alice stared into his eyes. He loved her? Really? She blinked at him, trying to find a way to explain. "Well," She started slowly. "I know it's wrong, and all the instincts I've built up over the years are telling me not to do it...but..." She shrugged. "I can't make myself give a damn. I almost...kinda feel relieved. It's hard being good all the time...especially when I don't always want to be. I'm not losing my morals...just...acting on my emotions a bit more, I guess." She shook her head and looked up at him sheepishly. "I'm not making any sense, am I?"

Kisshu smiled gently, pulling her into a soft hug. "No, of course you're making sense... If it didn't make sense, what we shared last night would never have even crossed my mind. I work the same way, so don't ever try to tell me that it doesn't make any sense..." He snuggled into her hair. "I just want to make sure that you'll be happy with the choice that you make..." He sighed, now confused...

As Kisshu held her, Alice let a few happy tears slide down her face. She had always longed to be loved. "I'll be fine. I just...don't want to be a burden. So, if ever I do, then I'll understand. It'll be ok then, for you to kill me." She meant it. To die so, at her lover's hands, would be the best way to go out. Of that she was certain. It wasn't so much a romantic notion as a deep understanding. It's either be killed by one who holds no respect for your life, or be killed by one who turn your death into a work of art.

"Don't you dare talk like that. I'd never... I'd never..." Not unless she left him. If that ever were to occur, he knew for sure that he'd be forced to put a knife in her esophegus. But... She didn't have to know that much. "Relax, sweetheart. I'm here... Just please make sure that you make the correct choice, understand me?"

"I'm positive." She assured him. "I just...don't want you to feel forced...I know I'm a bit..." She forced the word out past the lump that had formed in her throat. "...unlovable..." She finally whispered. She would die before she would be anyone elses' baggage.

As she uttered the word that he dreaded, Kisshu forced a flattened hand over her mouth. "Shh!" He hissed, quickly. "Shut up. Don't say shit like that about yourself. Understand me? If you're going to live in my house, you're going to live by my rules. Contrary to popular belief, I am the superior to Pai and Taruto. That means you, as well. First rule, stop talking like that..."

Alice nodded, then, to lighten the mood, licked his palm. She giggled. "Ok then," She said, her voice still muffled by his hand. "and you just got slimed, by the way." She wanted to thank him for seeing in her things that she couldn't even see in herself, but she didn't want him to be upset anymore.

Kisshu frowned, lifting his hand up to his eyes. "Ew." He went over to the sink, running his hand underneath a bit of running water. "You have no idea where that thing has been."

Alice merely giggled. "So, are you still going to attempt to make pancakes by yourself, or am I allowed to help you?" Then, as an afterthought she added. "Your clothes are really comfy by the way...."

Kisshu blinked, realizing that she was wearing clothes from his closet. Yet another smile came to him. "Well, you can use them as often as you'd like then. I really don't care, just as long as they get put in the laundry room." He stared down at the instructions on the pancake mix. "Uh... Maybe I could use a LITTLE bit of help..."

"Yayz!" Alice cheered. She then looked at the box. "Ok, get me a bowl a bowl and a mixing spoon. And set the stove on low for me."

Kisshu frowned. "I want to make it not help prepare it..." He pouted, striding across the kitchen and doing exactly what he was told. There was a mild setback with his knowledge of the stove, but he quickly realized that the levels were in fact labeled and that with just the turn of a nob it was done. Human life had its perks...

Alice giggled and patted his head. "Good boy. Don't worry; I'm just getting things set up for you." She smiled. "Now, you need to measure out the amount of pancake mix to pour into the bowl, and then you need to measure the amount of water to add to it. After that you just mix it until it's smooth." She instructed him. She then sat down and watched him set to work.

Kisshu stared at her with a blank look on his face. Measure... Mix... It was all just coming into one ear and right out the other. "Uh..." He looked at the numbers on the back of the box and frowned. This wasn't going to work. At all. "Uhm... Wait, wait... Uh, okay! I can do this."

Kisshu looked at her, desperation looming on his face. "Uh... Wh-What's teh price?" He felt completely humiliated to be asking a girl like her for help, but if it would put food on the table, he didn't really care all that much. His lips were in a pouting position as he tried to imagine the kind of price she would reccomend for him.

Alice hopped off the stool and walked over to him, looking at him as though contemplating. "Hmm.." She tapped her bottom lip. Toying with him was kinda fun. "while, I would demand that you do what I tell you to, but I already own you so....let's see..."
