"That reminds me," Rae suddenly said, still running up the stairs. She heard them coming up behind her, "Can you guys fight? If you don't know how, don't worry about lying about it. I can teach you." It didn't take to long to get on the roof. The sun had set and the moon was bright along with the stars. The night pressed on Rae and she finally felt at home. The night would always be hers.

Leo just kinda chuckled as he made it up the stairs behind her to the roof of the building. "If I couldn't fight, then I wouldn't be able to protect Alice very well. Would I?" Leo asking at the end, smiling a lot like he always did.

"Well, then Alice, I'm going to teach you karate because I feel like it." She got into a basic karate stance, "Now stand like this." Alice followed her instructions. "Stay like that for three hours now."

Holy friggin crap, she's actually doing it! I grinned and went to the edge of the roof, "Having fun Alice?" I'm pretty sure she was glaring at me. I wasn't going to try to escape...at least not tonight...again.... Standing there would help her but it wasn't necessary. I stood on the rooftop, watching the street below. If anyone looked up, they would scream because it would look like I was going to jump. Flirting with danger was always fun and it was going to scare the crap out of everyone.

Rae looked over her shoulder, "Will you shut up?!" She examined Alice's stance, "bend your knees a little bit more, Alice." She walked over and fixed her stance, then she went back to her place and stood absolutely still.

"Alice, you can move." Alice lept out of her position and ran around in a crazed frenzy. Her body ached.
"Owowowowowow!"

"Just making sure you can keep up!" Rae said to Leo, grinning. Being the hunted instead of the hunter was actually fun. She grabbed Alice's hand and though she couldn't run as fast, she didn't want to see anymore death. "Alice, don't go mew. They'll go after you too." Rae whispered as she leaped again.

The mean had gotten on the roof and were following us. "Crap, they've modified them again!" Rae said, "Leo, take Alice. I've been running from these bakas for years and will can get away. It'll be so much easier without Alice." Rae cast a glance at her, "No offense."

Rae ran faster than was supposed to be humanly possible and flipped from random builiding to random building. "Can you get across the street?!" She yelled at Leo and didn't wait for an answer before she jumped the large expanse across the street. Hopefully they still couldn't do that.
